𝗝𝗨𝗟𝗜𝗔𝗡 𝗦𝗔𝗧 𝗗𝗢𝗪𝗡 by the table in his living room, setting the different spices and herbs onto the table. He propped open the book beside him and set his churchwarden pipe aside.

Cain took a seat on the opposite side of the table, gazing at the materials in front of him. Tana just took a seat onto the couch as I stood.

"I've never heard of a banshee being around these parts." Tana begins.

"Yeah well their screams can be heard from miles. Very powerful stuff."

"You mentioned you were there during the banshee era. What happened?"

Julian smiled due to Cain's question. "A sucker for detail." He exhales, separating herbs. "Well, there were rumors-

"No no no, you said you were there." Cain interjects.

Julian got quiet. Cain knows something that Julian probably isn't letting on. Julian placed the different herbs into the hole of the pipe and lit it with a match. He inhaled, staring at the book in front of him.

I was getting impatient by the second. Killing him wouldn't be of help, if anything it would be more of a set back. He then blows, having the sweet smell choke me.

I took a seat on the beanbag and huffed. "In the month of August, year 1917, during the first blood moon, a baby was born. But this was no ordinary baby, nor was it a pup or a vampire. This baby, was born a banshee." He flipped a page.

"She came out crying like any other child would, but her cries were more...deadly. But only to one specie, that being wolves. The shrieks from the newborn child killed many, many dogs, or injured them dearly. It was said their brains exploded or they knocked themselves into trees or even clawed their own ears off.

"They would be fine, but only when the girl was asleep. So they set a plan, the wolves, to hunt her down and kill her." Julian sighs, his fingers brushing over the tan paper. "Her parents got so afraid that they came looking for an answer to keep their baby girl safe and alive. So they found me."

"The baby was Lolita wasn't she?" Cain asks. Julian didn't answer, instead he continued this ridiculous tale.

"Her parents were poor, didn't have a dime to their name. But they did have land. In exchange to help their child, they gave me everything they had, even their child. Once she was safe.

"I agreed to help seeing that she was quite a case. So...I casted a spell that would keep her quiet. But...her quiet cries were louder than her vocal ones. So she broke through it."

"This is impossible." Tana voices.

"And yet you bark at night." Julian took another puff from his pipe and continued. "But yes, it was impossible. So the hunt was still on for the child. A year turned to two turned to four, turned to ten. And at that age, she was finally found. I had made a mistake, leaving her alone to have a smoke. An untamed problem of mine." He grins.

"Now imagine a warlock, against an alpha and a vampire. Blood was everywhere."

"Why would a Vampire help a werewolf if it was a werewolf problem?" Asks Cain. Julian shrugged.

"I think they made a deal of some sort. The alpha at the time hated vampires so much he killed them. Maybe the deal was to leave them alone. But that's besides the point. That ten year old banshee was bitten by both those wild beings as I was nearly killed. But then...she screamed again. That familiar scream of hurt and distress was loud unlike any other.

"Killed the alpha, and his accomplice ran off."

"And Lolita?"

"She lived because I saved her. A part of me wish I didn't." He whispers. "She only got stronger...and stronger. More unhinged, hungry, wittier than I."

"And so?"

"I cooked up a spell. I sealed her voice, sealed her hunger, sealed her senses. I made sure that it would be unbreakable by any Wiccan, that if anyone were to try and unleash her inner demons, they'd die."

"If you did all of that why is she a wolf? Why are her markings showing up and how is it possible that she's back in banshee mode?" Tana questions.

"Because someone tried it already. A witch, maybe even a warlock, who knows. They didn't break it, but they did loosen it."

"I'm not following." I finally say. "Lolita is a banshee werevamp tribid that was born in 1917, was nearly killed at ten, killed a great alpha, and was sent off into the world when?"

"I let her go when she turned fourteen. I couldn't handle her anymore. Every blood moon she just got stronger and stronger. But I did erase her memory from it all, not wanting her to remember what she is. I did leave her with her age and the name her parents gave her though."

"A blood moon is nearing, could that be another reason why?" Asks Tana.

"Yes. But only I can undo that spell. Nobody is on my level when it comes to old fashion chants. But thing is, seeing that my spell is coming loose...I need to redo it."

"No." I respond. He looked at me.

"She will kill all of you, you know. She can't control her-

"Then you should have taught her that instead of keeping her quiet all of her life. You even took away her memory of it all. Now she doesn't know what she is and my brother somehow knows what she is and is keeping her hostage." I got up and strolled over to him, grabbing a hold of his clothes. "Story's over, find her now."

His hazel eyes challenged me. "Julian...you shouldn't come between an alpha and his mate. Lolita isn't safe around Yuno since he's obviously hurting her. Don't you think the reason why all of this is happening is because she's just finally expressing herself? Remembering even?" Cain states.

Julian closed his eyes. "She'll be hungry and mad at me when she remembers everything. I can't do it. Now...daeni 'adhhab." His eyes glowed faintly and I was pulled back harshly. My back hit the wall and I fell.

"Julian!"

I ran up to him and he stood to his feet. He looked at me, taking a few puffs from his pipe. When I got close, he threw something in my face. He touched my forehead and smiled.

"Yanam."
