𝗜 𝗪𝗔𝗦 𝗦𝗛𝗔𝗞𝗟𝗘𝗗 in a dirty cell. It had claw marks on the walls and floors. The bars were bent but still in good condition. It smells like rust and blood in here. Cain closed the cell and sighed.

"You'll be staying here until Saturday. You won't be able to escape so don't try."

"Why can't he just let me go?"

"If I say he may bite my head off. I know he's listening."

I rolled my eyes and tried pulling the chain from the ground but it cut through my skin. I winced, feeling a burning sensation in my palms. Silver?

I looked at Cain and he exhaled a breath. "Like I said, you won't be able to escape." I looked around the cage and realized what this cage may be used for.

Full moons.

"More or less." He says. I looked at him confused.

"What?"

"The cage. It's used for something else but I won't say for what exactly. But during those days on a full moon." Cain shook his head. "Things happen and this cage is the only way to stop Logan, so." He shrugs.

Logan, so that's his name. Logan the alpha. "I am not staying here."

"You don't really have a choice. But I spoke to him already so, we'll see how that goes." Cain began walking away and I turned, or well tried to. I was only limited to my lycan stage. The silver chains burned my wrist and I roared. It was in both pain and frustration.

All I want is to go home.

𝗜 𝗖𝗔𝗡 𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗥 her roars from here, of course. It was oddly loud and it even shook my desk. Cain made his way into my office and crossed his arms.

"It's been three days already." He explains. Ah, yes, she's been roaring in my ears for three hellish days now. Curse my curse of having the best senses of all wolf generations.

"Okay?"

"It's Saturday, when am I letting her out again?"

I sighed and got up. "I'll let her out. What's the word on my inbred brother?"

"Not even a howl. How did that fight go anyway? You came back with your chest deeply cut."

"We're wolves, he clawed me."

"No...he did just claw you. Something had to happen when I wasn't there."

"Forget about it Cain." Cain still followed me.

"Why are you letting her out again? It's still early."

I frowned, looking at him. What the hell is trying to do right now? "Don't you have a mate to get back to?"

"I'm still working on Jenny alright."

I snorted. "It's just a bite. You claim with a bite, or did you forget that?"

"She's turning me down as always." He sighed. "Hey, maybe I could mate with Lolita. She is pretty. Then again she's a lone wolf and an omega."

"And Jenny's a bitch."

"Woah woah woah woah woah. What crawled up your ass?"

"You did, now leave me alone before I rip you apart."

"Can I have Lolita then? She seems strong."

"Jenny's a beta no?"

"Yeah?"

"So stick with the whore dog."

"Okay you need to watch your mouth with it comes to Jenny. You're the one in love with a fucking stray dog and won't admit it."

That did it for me. "Shut up!" I just let my anger get the better of me and I knocked him away. Cain went flying at the end of the hall and he broke into the wall. I huffed, feeling my nails elongate and my canines grow out.

I stared at the hole in the wall, waiting for Cain to come out.

Why'd that make me so angry? "Fuck." Cain muttered. Cutting through that was a whimper. I was more alert than ever now and my head snapped in the opposite direction. Crying.

Sweat. Blood. Tears. In endless pain for three days. Those growls were familiar to me. I cooled down and made my way down the hall. It came out to an opening and I skipped downstairs.

I can't do this anymore. This is annoying me. I quickly made it down to the dungeon and to the cell. When I got there I saw her. The smell of sweat is thicker. I listened to her heartbeat, steady but faint.

I can't believe this she-dog is...I exhaled heavily. "She's your mate man...just mark her already."

"Out of my ear Cain. That's bullshit."

"You literally knocked me into your wall for calling her a stray dog. Which hurt by the way. Dammit."

"That's not true. I'm letting her go now. However she was surviving then she'd do it again." I opened up the cage and went in. It stinks in here. I walked up to her and I heard Cain.

The keys. Right. I exited and waited for him to show up. I could hear the jingle. He's teasing.

"I think you forgot something Mr.Wolf."

"Don't get curb stomped. Just hurry up so she could go."

He got here a minute later and held up the keys. I snatched them from his hand and he shook his head. He played me. He knows my temper.

"By the way I think you broke five ribs."

"Not healing?"

"If I say yes you won't feel sorry about what you just did to me."

"Shut up." I unlocked her chains and picked her up. I heard a snarl and before I knew it I felt a sting on my cheek. She cut me. Lolita dropped out of my hands and ran out of the cell.

"Woof."

I touched my cheek, looking at the blood. I heard her feet tap against the floor. She's nervous. Her heart is beating fast. Cain just leaned against the bars of the cell and stared at me.

"Well, at least it's free for the full moon next week."

"Shut up."

Cain snickered and walked off. "Get ready to suffer Logan! It's the only time I ever get to see you in pain."

"I'll kill you." I call out.

"And let one of the Omegas take over? I don't think so."

I should fire him.
