𝗜 𝗢𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗠𝗬 eyes and inhaled sharply. I could feel cold sweat cover my body. I'm sure I died. I felt it. I gazed around, huffing like I'd been running for hours. I tried to move but a hand set on my chest, shoving back down.

My eyes focused and it's Tana. She's got a worried expression onto her face and upon locking eyes with me she looked away. What the hell is going on?

"Careful." She says. I swallowed and exhaled heavily. "How are you feeling?" She asks softly. Her fingers trailed down to my abs and I caught her wrist.

"Stop. Where's Cain?"

"He's out looking for Lolita." She mutters. "He's been doing so for the past two weeks now." She informs. Two weeks? I sat up abruptly and coughed. I looked around, noticing a different room.

It smells like lemons and bleach. "We go a house in town like you wanted. Cain said you wouldn't want to share houses since you like your space." She explains further.

"What happened to me?"

Tana chewed her bottom lip before responding. "Apparently Pam sprayed you with wolfsbane, but it was also part spell that would only take slow affect until a given time. I think she helped Yuno kidnap Lolita." She informs quietly.

"I'm going to kill her." I force myself to my feet and stumbled. I have a fucking headache.

"I don't think that would be a good idea since she may know where Yuno took Lolita. She did save you."

I glared at her. "After she tried to kill me."

"Please don't hurt Pam. She's just being used by Yuno I know it."

I gazed around the room and it's practically empty. I exhaled a sigh and combs my fingers through my hair.

"Being used by Yuno? She's a witch she's not dumb. We're going to talk to Pam and if she doesn't talk I'll rip her throat open. Call Cain and get him here now. Now where are my things, I'm going to take a shower."

We got to Pam's house quicker than usual. My mind was racing and I was growing impatient by the second. Lolita's gone after I told her I'll protect her. I hope she's okay. If Yuno is feeling himself enough to hurt her I'll eat him for lunch.

"She'll be okay, Logan." Cain says pulling me from my spiral. I gazed up at him through the rearview mirror just as Tana parked.

I only got out, strutting my way to Pam's doorstep. I raised my foot and kicked it open. I didn't bother saying anything as I walked through her house. It was empty. From spices to her crappy books. Everything was just gone.

Except for that lingering smell of incense.

I got raged up and began breaking the furniture. The fact that she left this all behind meant that she left in a hurry. I walked back out and pranced over to Tana. She backed up against the car and I cupped her face.

"Where the hell is she?"

"I-I don't know." She stammers.

"Where. Is. She?" Tana quivered in fear as my hold got tighter. "Where Tana?!" I shoved her head back I heard a clank sound from the car. Tears brimmed her eyes as she shook her head.

"I don't know...I promise."

I let her go and she rushed over to Cain who was standing in silence and hugged him. I know he hates to hear it or even witness his sister get antagonized or hurt but she's a trigger to everything in my path. She's lucky I don't want to lose Cain as a beta and my only friend.
