|PROLOGUE|

A normal high school student, having almost graduated from college as well.

I was going to celebrate this day with my family, but...of course a tragic moment had to strike me at my happiest time.

This was the life I led of unluckiness, my name, Kokuyo Kurokishi meaning black night or midnight as one would say, or you could put it like a black knight which was very mysterious and strong in medieval type tropes.

Then...why the heck was I reincarnated and transmigrated to a novel I once read?!

I hated these plots, a female or male main character getting run over by a truck or something and they die and get sent to a novel they knew and get lucky and all that...

(KK)-But why me?!?

I read so many novels before, so many stories, so of course this would obviously be one fable I knew of.

(KK)-The novel's extra...

A silly story from the protagonist's or author's view, but in reality, it was a truly messed up world.

Let's start and explain everything back at the beginning.

This is how the story inside this damn novel went...

(KK)-The world faced calamity, towers, dungeons, and the like as monsters caused destruction throughout the world rampaging.

The place where I resided in was especially getting the worst of the worst treatment of this setting exposition...the peninsula of Korea.

Becoming infamous as a region where dungeons and towers appeared nonstop...but technically that means the room for growth was also very great.

That was why heroes were born, one could call them hunters, rankers, or other things in common tropes like this.

Managing to get these catastrophes under control, they used the disaster as a force to advance society, recovering from the crisis...Korea would become a leading global power beside America which was its rival at this point.

And so...numerous heroes gathered here for the culture or...to become a hero as trainees or students one could say gathered.

Korea's newest countermeasure, the institution that combined the best state-of-the-art magic along with magic engineering...

(KK)-The cube...what a silly but efficient name.

I had been transmigrated a few years ago before the original novel had started, of course, due to my interference with this world, some of the plot had changed, though not sufficiently as I lived in the shadows.

(KK)-But now it's time...!

The cube, where hero cadets gathered from all over the world...those that broke through unbelievable acceptance odds were grouped together with many talented individuals.

Having known all this as one of the readers, and becoming one of the many hero cadets accepted as a student to the cube academy...I was more prepared than ever to use this chance in my life to enjoy it to the fullest so I could have a wonderful school life with friends that I never managed to make!

(KK)-I have to befriend the author first though...

Currently sitting in a stadium was I, and among many other cadets like the main character, Kim Suho.

I had to befriend the author, Kim Hajin, I'll keep our interactions small so not much will happen from then on...
