(KK)-Hajin should have probably gained his stigma by now...

Cheat-like abilities befitting of the creator of his own novel, though I was some sort of oddity myself, but...

(KK)-I don't think I can beat Kim Suho...

A shiver of excitement would course through me at that single glimpse of desire that consumed my thoughts, I guess I was some sort of battle freak in a symbolism.

"Cadet Kokuyo Kurokishi!" Oh, right.

(KK)-I forgot there was an award...

(KK)-Citizen exemplary award...

It seemed I was the first to arrive, by an hour...

"It seems there's an interesting kiddo here..." A noise I knew, the mentor of the young Chae Nayoon who used to train with the sword...

"Yoo Shihyuk, it is nice to meet you." Calm as I was, despite the pressure and aura that came from him, maybe I would emit some of my own...

"Shift."

Passing by me, a grin on his face before I could release my mana, he'd place a hand on my shoulder as he passed by.

"If you ever come by, it would be nice." And that just spelled trouble...

Peace and quiet...the silence along with...!

"Kokuyo?" Kim Suho's voice, realizing who it was, I would open my eyes as I was still in my seat in a drowsy daze to only see Nayoon on one side and Suho on the other as Hajin hadn't arrived yet.

"Ah, sorry, did I wake you?" Suho apologized as I blankly stared at him, though Nayoon was...seemingly in deep thought.

"No." I would answer quickly, not wanting to make a hindrance to this situation.

"Oh, that's good, you were sleeping quite peacefully." At the mention of that, I wonder...how were my sleeping habits?

(KK)-Delicate then...?

"...Thanks for waking me up." I muttered softly in a calm manner, staring forward to not meet his gaze, feeling rather heated up as this was a usual run in the mill reaction I would always get if I felt another person just watch me for a while or if many eyes stared at me.

(KK)-...I'm glad he isn't saying anything else thankfully...!

"...H-He's here!" Rumbling footsteps that echoed with thunder, "Everyone, get ready!" An aura so immense that it was visible, hero Yoo Shi-hyuk would enter onto the stage with irritation wiped all over his facial expression.

Murmurs, discreet whispers went under with the crowd gossiping, Valhalla's wolf...

(KK)-Reminds me of Fenrir from Norse mythology...

Pantheons were unique things, I took interest in such research of ancient relics and all that.

"We will now begin the award ceremony." The announcer stated to the masses, staying up firm, I couldn't display myself poorly.

(KK)-...The nap earlier didn't count.

"Could all recipients please come up to the stage at this time." Like a order of procedure of a careful process, we followed out upon to the stage when our names were called, me being last in line as Hajin and the others were ahead of me.

"The award will be presented by Mr. Yoo Shi-hyuk, the 37th ranked hero." It was impressive, even for someone in the 30 to 40 rank range, out of all of the thousands and maybe millions this person had risen to that position with his power.

(KK)-I wonder what will happen...from this curve onward.

"The following people defeated a djinn despite the dangers, having acted as model citizens of society..." Now this was getting awfully bland and boring, but...it seems things were wrapping up seeing as he was handing out the certificates.

(KK)-He's discussing something with them...ugh...

(KK)-Pft!

Hajin being an extra since he technically was a background character, not even being acknowledged by the 37th ranked hero, but for me...his reaction would be...?

"...If you ever consider becoming a hunter, come find me, I like your gaze." Grinning like a complete fool, a old ahjussi if one could call him that in public without risk...

"Meh, it depends." I answered bluntly in a nonchalant way, so much so that it made him burst into laughter as gazes fell on me.

(KK)-...This feeling again...

Disliking it very much, quite literally, I could only make a prayer to escape...

"You seem to be enjoying your time." Walking with Hajin as we entered cafe carrot, a rather good place, I went here from time to time when I was younger...

(KK)-The reward for subjugating djinns really is the icing on the cake...

"Of course, I get to pay off my debt and..." Hajin was smiling with bliss, his decor of food arriving as he picked up the tray and set it down at the table, of course I ordered something for myself...

"...You really like chocolate, don't you?" Hajin would mention at the sight of me stuffing my face with cookies, muffins, cupcakes, and other kinds of chocolate desserts as I topped it off with chocolate milk.

"Yuth cant blem meh." Chewing whilst talking, my cheeks puffed up as my mouth was closed so I didn't have to show the mess happening inside it, Hajin would sigh.

"Speak once you finish eating." He chuckled as I ate to my own pace of desire, you really could not blame me though, chocolate was just quite my most favorite thing in this entire world!

(KK)-As one has said, chocolate is life...!

Pretending that he wasn't on a laptop right now, but considering he was using his privileges as creator of the novel in front of me, it just meant he trusted me as an ally.

(KK)-...Aren't we sat a little far from each other?

Sitting at separate tables, since we couldn't fit our trays on one table, I would sitting almost beside him.

(KK)-He's in deep thought into wonderland, better not bother snow white then.

"Ah~ what an interesting setup." And here comes the spoils of a gloomier atmosphere of what we call moody!

"You both know about me, right?" She smiled cunningly, "Cadet Kim Hajin and Kokuyu Kurokishi..." Uneasy, though tending to stay relaxed as harm wouldn't be caused, I kept silent for this one.

"Do you two know how shocked I was of how quickly the both of you just outright disappeared from the award ceremony~?" Piquing my intrigued mind slightly, I at least bothered to listen and maybe hear her out depending on her proposal.
