Continuing where we left off...

"No, but can we talk after eating?" I had finished my food, now casually sipping on my drink as I blankly gazed at her without a care in the world, Hajin was looking at me like I was crazy.

"Oh, but of-" I would then proceed to interrupt her, "So we'll be leaving now, let's go Hajin." Grabbing him along, I would slip our food into my sub space that was contained on my wrist by a bracelet whilst moving away from Yun Seung-ah as we just simply walked away.

Assuming it would start around this time, I stood on standby, watching Jin Ha-jeong as he followed after a certain person.

(KK)-I'll end this early...

People, especially students in Cube would go missing around this time in this incident, following my memory, only six people should go missing as time passes.

"Shift."

Cloaked, I kept a rifle in hand in case of hand to hand combat as I entered the room silently, there was only one person speaking as I quickly rushed into the situation aiming my matchlock rifle towards the Djinn...?

"..." Studying the surroundings, it would seem he escaped out the window...how bothersome...

"How foolish of you to turn your back on-" And as expected, I had summoned other rifles in advance.

"Cleaning off the blood and disposing of the bodies really takes a long time..." Sighing heavily with a grunt, I wiped all the blood off the black outfit and got rid of the smell, I guess I would have to use the cadet uniform for a while

(KK)-Damn it...

Another day in class, training, I was helping Hajin with his stamina as I tried my best not to completely dominate him.

"Hey, can't you take it easy on me?!" Was he already exhausted from this much?

(KK)-How low of a stamina pool does he have...?

"Well, at least you're lasting longer than usual." I didn't really have to move, as I only had to expend my mana to control these rifles as they kept charging relentlessly at Hajin.

(KK)-...

Though I could hear comments every once in a while, most of them were about Hajin anyway.

"Attention cadets!" The instructor bursted into the training hall, with a long scroll of paper in his possession as it was probably the written test scores.

(KK)-...I should probably be in third place, I tried not to surpass Rachel after all-

And to my surprise and shock as well, I was somehow second place on the written exams, right behind Hajin.

(KK)-Frick...

"Rattle-"

The sound of something behind me startled my nerves as I turned around to find Rachel looking at me and Hajin with a bewildered stare, well...to turn this situation around I should...

After classes, I would approach Rachel and ask her, "Do you want to study with me?" I spoke calmly, to which was in Rachel's delight as her eyes practically started blooming with light bulbs.

"Of course, I'd love too, I'm in your care." The politeness was so extreme, that I thought I was about to toss and turn, but I only sighed mentally.

One of the outdoor training fields at Cube, I was lazing around as I lied afar from the crowds and sat on a carpet I brought.

(KK)-Do I really have to listen to this...?

My mind boiling in this heat, basically what we were going to do was raid an artificial dungeon that was made by magic engineering from a culmination of research with modeled monsters that acted like the real thing.

(KK)-Imitations...

After the virtual board was posted up, we were designated into teams.

(KK)-It seems it's the same teams as last time...nice, familiarity but...

I was not under my disguise, so my team members were quite shocked when they saw me, especially Rachel.

"You..." Rachel would begin to speak before Dae-yoon jumped in between us to examine me, "Wow, so this is what you really look like?" Sparkling eyes full of awe, I pushed her off of me as Nar-hae stood alone by himself watching us as I signaled him to come over.

"Hey you damn slowpokes...!" From the cultivation class, the students that we were grouped up with were...

"Gillian, Buliese, and...Vanitas?" I called them out in order, the first being Gillian who had ginger colored hair and blue eyes, Buliese who had brown hair and hazel eyes, and finally Vanitas with black hair and black eyes.

(KK)-Only three people...?

But the voice that came from earlier was their leader so...

"Hey, didn't any of you hear me?" Blonde hair, green eyes, an attitude.

(KK)-Some guy with a common name, Mark?

Well, not that this was my problem, Hajin's reputation was only kept intact due to my help but he was still seen negatively by a few people here and there.

As our turn to enter the artificial dungeon arrived, we would go inside as Rachel went ahead to lead us, we would end up at a crossroads as Rachel turned to look at me as if for answers.

"We're going to go for the sixth path, is that alright with you guys?" I suggested, some of the members from the cultivation class didn't seem to agree with my opinion, but the majority voted and that was just the democracy here.

"Please inform us of any monsters ahead, Yonaka." Still referring to my alias, I was a bit stung but it was indeed suspicious for a student to use a fake name after all...

"Sure..." I shrugged, we moved onward in a fast but steady pace, before I noticed the salamander in front of us in the darkness, my eyes were really good so...

"Salamander in front, Nar-hae get ready." I told him as he had a water attribute, he nodded and went along with my command, my fellow teammates trusted me, but I was unsure of the cultivation class who thankfully followed along with my orders.

(KK)-Hopefully everything will turn out well...
