"On the first day I met you, I realized that I would be your number one protector."

Phoebe woke up from her sleep. She was still trying to accept the fact that she had just visited Vernon's house.

"Wow, is this real? Did I just meet Vernon? Wow, that guy wasn't lying; I can really teleport to meet Vernon."

The fleeting happiness made Phoebe forget that her age had been reduced by one year because of meeting Vernon. She forgot that the joy she felt was also robbing her of the happiness of living in the world.

Her obsession with meeting her idol had made her forget everything.Phoebe was excited to work because she was sure it would rain in the evening.

"This evening seems like it's going to rain again, I will meet Vernon again, yay."

She served all customers with a smile. Although her boss often scolded her for being careless in making drinks, Phoebe didn't care.

She didn't listen to her boss's complaints that day. All that was in her mind was how it would rain in the evening, and she could meet Vernon again.

The clock showed 03:00 pm, and Phoebe's phone notification informed her that it would rain around 04:00 pm. Autumn indeed made Phoebe's workload increase because more customers came to her cafe. She even often worked overtime to help her colleagues.

"Eonni, you look happier today. Did something happen?"Giselle, who was making a drink, suddenly greeted Phoebe.

They had known each other for two years since working at the same cafe. Giselle was a girl of Korean-Japanese descent who had been living in Korea since she was 5 years old. Therefore, it was no surprise that her Korean was more fluent than her Japanese.

"Really? I feel like today is just the same. Maybe it's just your feeling."

"But, is Eonni's work still okay?"

"It's still okay. I still take freelance jobs. Next week, I'll visit my grandmother."

"Until when will Eonni work so hard like this? Doesn't Eonni want to live according to Eonni's desires to write a book and go on vacation?"

"Ha ha, can I still dream like that when I don't even know if I can live next month? The cost of taking care of my grandmother alone is expensive, not to mention my living expenses in Seoul. I don't know how else to survive."

"Eonni, do you want to watch Seventeen's concert? I'll help you find cheap tickets."

"No need. I can meet Vernon every day now, ha ha."

"What do you mean?"

"Forget it. I have to go. Finish all these tasks, and tomorrow, I'll take the morning shift. So, you can rest."
