Yo! Star here! As I said in the past, the Yuffie dlc is being worked into my story. It's been a long time since I worked on the story, but I figured with the new game coming out, we no longer have to be in that Hiatus.
So my question would be...
Would you guys want me to cover the prequel with Zach's story? Or would you just want me to keep going into Rebirth? Or cover an alternate take, covering the OG material.
The Zach's story, it would show more of Y/n and Tifa's bond with Cloud but also how Sephiroth and Y/n never met in that story. As Y/n wasn't a big role in the past arcs, it would dive into a new protagonist alongside Zach who is set to appear in the future.
With Rebirth, we would see how the power is effecting Y/n and how he's becoming more and more like his brother. When your existence is supposed to hurt people, is it easier to cave into those dark desires or resist them?
The OG story would feature what my original plans were for the story before the game came out. Basically I thought it would cover all of FF7 and then played the game and realized I was wrong. So this would just be me going and changing things up, as Y/n's love interest was actually Jessie. Things such as the dynamic between Y/n and Cloud, rivalry between Berret and Y/n, and past with Y/n and Sephiroth would all be different than the Remake Timeline.
