There I was. Standing in front of the mirror in Aurora's bathroom. Wearing my prettiest bikini. And doubting if I should go outside to have a swim with my ex.

There's nothing weird about it, right? We might have some history, but I guess we're friends now. Plus, it's so warm today, I'm practically melting. It's just an innocent thing. We're both just coincidentally using the pool at the same time.

I've been going over this for a thousand times, since it might still be an awkward encounter. Eventually, I stopped myself from thinking any longer and just walked outside with a towel. I did my best to look cool on the outside, but inside I was kinda dying. I was so nervous. I'm about to go spend time with him on purpose and as if that's not unusual enough, he has to be shirtless too!

Deep breaths. Everything's fine and normal.

I was walking towards the back door to enter the yard with the pool, when I could already see Pablo in the water from a distance. He looked so unbelievably handsome with his hair wet and his muscles flexed as he was swimming laps.

I shoved the glass door open and walked outside, feeling the rather warm breeze on my revealed skin. Gavi's face slightly lighted up when he spotted me.

"Hey! You came." he smiled.

"Yeah. I needed something to cool off." I chuckled, which is ironic because this is only heating me up more.

"Well, then go on and jump in." he laughed and I couldn't help but notice him smoothly checking me out. From head to toe.

I did as he said and my body flinched at the feeling of the cold water against my skin, creating goosebumps. But as I swam back up, I had already gotten used to the temperature. My lungs breathed the outside air again and I pushed my hair back, trying to prevent it from getting messy.

I opened my eyes, just to see Gavi fully staring at me. I let out a nervous giggle. "The water feels nice, huh." I tried to start a conversation.

"Uh, yeah yeah. It is." I almost caught him off guard.

It was quiet for another bit. This time he broke the silence. "So, are you ready for Pedri's birthday?"

"Yeah, I think so. I hope everything will just go as planned. The past week has been so stressful, everyone deserves a good time." I half smile as I let my arms flow through the water a bit.

"They will. You organised it after all, didn't you?" he chuckled.

"Well, yes. Lucia helped a lot, so I'm definitely not taking full credit." I answered honestly with a little nod.

"Then I'm sure it's gonna be amazing. You know when you organise something you get a tad obsessive and well... creepy." Gavi confesses with a laugh.

"What?" I exclaim offended. "That's so not true!"

"Oh please,  Y/N. Just admit it." he exhales before continuing. "You're a perfectionist. And that's okay."

I scoff with a rather playful eyeroll. "Okay, so maybe I like it when things are neat and in order, but I do not get obsessive."

"Oh, por Dios. Remember when I put those spoons in the wrong drawer by accident? You got so anxious." he smiles, his dimples fully on display.

"Fine. I just like it when things are where I can find them, so?" I cross my arms over my chest, trying to keep eye contact with him.

"I never said there's anyhting wrong with your sometimes 'strange' habits. In fact, I always thought it was adorable, the way you had a spot for everything." he tilted his head as he stared at me intensely.
