At the amphitheater, all the students are sparring from random teams. Cardin in on the stage and bring his Executioner and Hikaru only wear his Gear Driver on his waist.

Hikaru: Hi, there. It nice to meet you.

Cardin: It nice to meet you too, new kid. I'm Cardin Winchester.

Hikaru: I'm Hikaru Sakura. Nice. Um. MlNice mace you have there.

Cardin: Oh, thank you. You didn't bring your weapon into a fight? What a shame.

Hikaru: So, can we start now?

Cardin: Sure.

Cardin charge toward him and swing his mace at him. Hikaru avoid it.

Hikaru: Don't try to think that you can hit me with your mace.

Cardin: Oh C'mon. Are you afraid getting hit? (Chuckle)

Hikaru: I'm not afraid.

Hikaru grab his Gear-Mode and insert into the Driver.

Attack Mode! Defence Mode!

He press the button.

Hikaru: Henshin!

🎶 The knight who attack with his sword and defense himself with a shield to protect himself! 🎶

He transform into Gear and charge toward him and slash his sword at Cardin. Cardin block his attack with his Executioner. Cardin swing his mace and hit him but Gear block his attack with his shield. Gear push him away with his shield and charge toward him and slash him. Gear slash him many times and Cardin have a hard time to defence himself until the buzzer was ring.

Glynda: Hikaru, that's enough. Students, as you can see, Mr. Winchester's Aura has now dropped into the red. In a tournament-styled duel, this would indicate that Cardin is no longer fit for battle, and that the official may call the match.

Glynda look at Gear then he transform back to normal. Glynda go to Hikaru and give him a Scroll.

Hikaru: Um. What is this?

Glynda: Hikaru, this is a Scroll. I'm know you have experience in combat with your weapons since you don't have Semblance and Aura but we're afraid you might get eaten by the Beowolf.

Cardin: Ever heard of that Grimm? I bet you don't want to meet that thing.

Hikaru glare at him and remain silent and he look at the Scroll.

To the seated and standing students, such as Yang Xiao Long, punching the air in anticipation; Weiss Schnee, shaking her fists with an excited smile; and Ruby Rose, shaking her entire body with enthusiastic energy while squealing softly.

Glynda: Remember, everyone, the Vytal Festival is only a few months away! It won't be long before students from the other kingdoms start arriving in Vale, so keep practicing! Those who choose to compete in the combat tournament will be representing all of Vale!

The bell rings, and students start leaving while Hikaru still puzzled.
