The team sprawled crouched down around bushes and trees. They were looking out for something that Batman had given them to do on a mission. Split up into two, Robin and Wally both crouched huddled behind one bush, the rest of the team elsewhere in pairs. Robin held out binoculars with night vision, as it had just gotten dark outside.
"What exactly are we supposed to be doing this long? I'm bored!" Wally shouted in a whisper.
"Shh! We're looking for anything suspicious! Now shut up." Robin whispered back.
Wally groaned and leaned back against a tree behind him.
"Anybody found anything yet?" Megan called through mind links.
"No, not yet." Kauldar called after.
"Nada, I'm thinking of switching to a new spot soon." Robin replied.
Just at that moment, a sharp prick of the neck stung Wally, causing him to gasp out as he held it. Robin looked over at him concerned, pausing everything he was doing.
"Wally, what's wrong?" He questioned.
"Probably just a leaf or bug." Wally shrugged, smiling.
Robin sighed and turned back to his work, shrugging.
Wally then could hear a voice in his head, the same voice he had heard earlier. He closed his eyes and listened, his eyes now a red color just as before.
He then opened them again and quietly made his way out from the bushes, crawling quickly away from his team and into the deep of the trees. He had no idea what was happening, or even what was going on, but he didn't have any control over it either.
"Wait, guys, me and Megan have something, meet us over on the east side by that huge tree on the hill!" Artemis then called in the mind link.
"Alright, Wally, let's go!" Robin said as he stood up. He then turned behind him, frowning when he found himself talking to no one.
"Wally?" He questioned in thin air.
He sighed and ran towards the spot Artemis had said.
Once there, he met up with everyone except for Wally. He gasped out of breath as his concern grew more.
"Hey, Robin, where's Wally? He was supposed to be with you." Megan questioned.
"I thought he was here, maybe took off before me! But I just looked and he was gone!" Robin slightly panicked.
"He disconnected from the mind links too." Kauldar added.
"We can worry about him later, he's probably off goofing off like usual. What was it that you found, Artemis?" Conner puffed out.
"Right. We saw someone sneaking by that warehouse over there." Artemis said, pointing towards a warehouse building across from them.
"Good. Let's go check it out, and then we can worry about finding Kid later." Kauldar ordered before they soon took off and towards the building.

The very next morning, the team all stepped inside the cave, all worn out and tired. They hadn't really found much on their mission, only huge pods of water aligning the center of the warehouse. None of them had any luck finding their friend either.
"It isn't like Wally to just leave like that especially on a mission." Artemis then said, starting the conversation.
Just then, the cave computer suddenly announced the arrival of Wally himself as he stepped inside, all of them staring at him as he ran up over to them, breathing out of breath.
