She can't breathe
She can't stop
She keeps running
Keeping a pace
Trying to ignore her many bad days
She wishes and wonders
Of the sweetness of life
Is it even worth it? Will it suffice?
She questions again
Yes, my darling
He says in her ear
She cries and fights, so many tears
Please let me go, I don't want to be here
She's running and running
Away from it all
She stumbles and falls, she struggles to even crawl
But keeps on running
And a boy cries behind her
I love the girl who runs, I don't want to be without her
He says, because all of him is in her
And now he's gone too, they just weren't life's winners
