And she listens to her midnight lullaby
The screams and the constant cries
The echoes of depressed and lost souls
Tearing at each other trying to find the
happiness they once had whole
But none find anything but an endless sadness in the dark, and this certainly tears them apart
She watches them as they search and she tries to help, trying to end their yelps
But she's slapped and beaten and denied as a friend
She crawls away, destroyed again
Afraid
Alone
And she cries through the night
Listening to her lullaby and stuck with the dark visions that give her fright
