Bug-brewed

As the waiter turned around to go back inside the kitchen, Avi quietly pickpocketed the bunch of keys from the pocket of the waiters lowers.

"Will these help?" Avi asked while innocently tilting his head to the side.

"Yes! Oh wait-" Lorelei was about to celebrate when she realised that the waiter standing only a few metres away heard her.

"Is something wrong, Ma'am?" The waiter asked in Latin, suspicious of her previous actions.

"No everything is fine, she's just enthusiastic about the coffee because she really loves it" Avi confirmed that nothing is wrong.

The waiter was still suspicious but decided to not think about that matter.

Marcel shot a death glare to Lorelei while she quietly apologized.

"Okay what's the plan?" Avi asked while observing the keys which were hidden behind the menu such that only they can see it.

"Okay so we have to go from the kitchen since the front door has no signs of opening" Lorelei declared.

...

Waiter was starting to grow even more suspicious of them since they were all dived inside the menu even after they have ordered so he decided to take a round near the table

"Is everything alright here?" The waiter said while passing by their table in the corner

"Huh? Oh yes everything is fine" Avi stated while hurriedly hiding the keys which went unnoticed by the waiter.

"Mhm"

The waiter quietly went back to the counter as he found nothing suspicious

"What are we supposed to do? he is standing right infront of the kitchen door" Marcel asked

"How about I distract him by dancing to Latata? I look mesmerizing while doing so..." Lorelei said

"That's even worse" Avi commented while massaging his temples in order to think of a plan.

"Here's your order sir, I hope you enjoy" waiter smiled while setting their order on the table.

They all got startled by the sudden presence of the waiter but thanked him and smiled back.

As Lorelei was about to take a sip she noticed that it contains dead beetles and almost immediately spat the drink back into the cup.

"This contain literal dead bodies of beetles!" She exclaimed.

"What else do you expect from a cafe like this?" Marcel commented while observing his cup of coffee.

Meanwhile..

"You could have told that earlier!" Avi shouted on a low tone after also spitting out his coffee back in the cup.

"Jeez.. I'm sorry" Lorelei said

"Do you even know how managed to pull that drink out straight from my lung!?" Avi added.

Lorelei only chuckled about this.

"Anyways, the waiter is serving other people, this is our chance to go inside the kitchen" Marcel said while eyeing the waiter who was serving other people

"Who will go?" Lorelei asked

"You both can go while I look after the waiter" Marcel commented, still eyeing the waiter

"Alright" both said in unison

Both looked around to see if they are being watched by anyone, once they were sure nobody is looking at them, both of them quickly ran of to the direction of the kitchen.
