Door to freedom

[the huge flag in the centre ^^]

All of them started looking for the exit but the tree seemingly disappeared.

"Wait!" A voice called out. All four of them turned around to find Iris standing behind them.

"They tricked you! The tree would only lead to your destruction! There is a secret door behind the flag, go inside it and you will be free!" Iris said as she came in front of them and huffing from the running.

"I-is that true..?" All were surprised, will this finally end?

"Yes, that is," Iris said, all the four jumped in excitement and hugged eachother.

Iris smiled at the scene and thought that it was time for her to take her leave. She turned around and as soon as she rose her foot, she was stopped.

"Wait!" [Ll]

"Hmm?" [Ir]

"You're such a kind lady, we would like to thank you from the bottom of our hearts. Thank you so much for leading us out of here" [Mc]

Iris found herself smiling at their words. It felt like they had known each other since birth.

"And you were.. not afraid of the Queen...?" [Ax]

Her smile dropped at the statement.

"You don't have to tell if your don't want to, I apologise" [Ax]

"It's okay.."
"Me and my friends where roaming around the city while having a gala time, we came across this café named 'The Syncil café' and decided to explore it. Our orders were taking way to long so we went to complain but they hit all of us in the head with a huge hammer causing us to get unconscious."

"When we woke up we were at a carnival and we all got angry so we tore the tent and ran out. The guards saw us and took us to the Duchess. The Duke commanded her to listen to us so we went to the court. The previous judge labelled one of my friends as guilty and deserving of punishment. The rest of got angry and attacked him badly causing his death. The Duchess noticed the absence of the judge so I quickly pretended to be the real judge and everyone believed me and praised me. All I saw was people cheering for me until I looked behind, all my friends were successfully escaping, leaving me behind,"

The four too shocked to utter even a single word but managed to thank her before she left.

"Before I go, take this key. This is to unlock the door you will in the flag"

"Okay, thank you kind lady"

5 minutes after Iris left

"How could someone leave their own friend in a situation like this!?" The four were discussing over whatever happened to Iris.

"Whatever happened to Iris was really tragic but we should go back to the real world now"

All of them agreed and looked for a door in the huge flag.

"I think I found it" Lorelei said while trying to move the door handle.

"Nice! Quick, get the key" Alice quickly looked in her pockets and took out the key to give it to Lorelei.

*Unlocks*

This was it, the door to freedom was now unlocked.
Everyone froze, all were shocked.
No one dared to look behind the now open lock.
Until they recovered from their small yet strong shock.
