Radhi quickly rushed out of the bathroom wearing a bathrobe because she had forgotten to bring her clothes in her haste, but fortunately, she found a spare one in the bathroom.
Initially, Radhi was a bit hesitant to come out, as she had draped the bathrobe over herself, and Aayansh's joke about it had made her feel a bit awkward.
"Well, it's good that everything happened on time; otherwise, I would have taught Aayansh a lesson today that he wouldn't even think of making such jokes," Radhi said.
"Now, I should take off this bathrobe and get dressed," Radhi said as she moved from the bathroom towards the wardrobe. She opened it and pulled out a beautiful black kurti, pairing it with jeans.
Though Radhi had an afternoon shift, she called her boss and informed them that she would be doing the morning shift.
In the hospital
Radhi reached the hospital without wasting any time and went straight to Shivi's cabin.
Because Radhi went to Shivi's cabin before her shift began, she noticed Shivi playing Candy Crush on her phone.
Shivi was so engrossed in playing the game that she didn't even realize when Radhi entered her cabin.
When Radhi saw that Shivi was preoccupied and busy with her game, she approached her table, took out a book from her handbag, placed it on the table, and called out Shivi's name, saying, "Shivi, what was all this about?"
In a sudden burst of frustration, Radhi's voice reverberates with intensity, catching Shivi off guard. With a puzzled yet innocent look on her face, Shivi places her phone on the table and queried, "What's wrong? Why the outburst? What have I done now?"
Radhi gestured towards the bookshelf and said, "Ye tu kaisi kitabein padhti hai?"
(What are you always reading?)
Observing Radhi's indication towards the book, Shivi finally notices the book and picks it up from the table, saying, "Oh, so this was with you, and I was searching for it at my home. Good thing you brought it."
"Tumhe andaaza bhi nahi ki tumhari is kitaab ke karan aaj kya ho jata," Radhi said, recalling that moment with irritation.
(You have no idea what could have happened today because of your book.)
"Kyun aisa bhi kya kar diya meri masoom bejaan si kitaab ne?Shivi asked.
(Why? What did my innocent, lifeless book do?)
"Tumhari is kitaab ki wajah se aaj Aayansh ke samne mujhe kitna embarrassed hona pada, tumhe andaaza bhi nahi." Radhi's voice clearly showed frustration.
(Because of your book, I felt so embarrassed in front of Aayansh today. You have no idea.)
"Embarrassed?" Shivi asked.
"Yeah, embarrassed, when I was taking out my book from my handbag in the morning, I found your book, and I was reading it out of curiosity when Aayansh came in and saw me reading your book," Radhi explained.
"Oh wow, did that really happen?" Shivi asked after listening to Radhi's entire story.
Radhi nodded her head in agreement with Shivi.
Shivi, now understanding the situation, asked her, "Can you tell me which chapter you were in?"
"I don't remember which chapter it was, but it was something wild-type," Radhi told Shivi with a pinch of embarrassment.
After listening to Radhi's complete story, Shivi burst into laughter. She chuckled and said, "Wow, just wow! I'm speechless; I can't even find words to express how hilarious that scene must have been."
"You're making fun of me, and it's all because of you," Radhi said with so much anger as she began to walk towards Shivi.
As soon as Shivi saw that Radhi was coming towards her, she quickly ran to the other side of the table.
Shivi, still chuckling, said to Radhi with a grin, "What's my fault in this? I didn't exactly force you to read my book."
Radhi realized that Shivi was right. It was her own curiosity that had led her into that situation.
Without saying anything, Radhi went and sat on the chair placed in Shivi's cabin.
Seeing Radhi suddenly calm down and sit on the chair, Shivi, now no longer laughing, took a seat beside her.
Shivi felt her prank may have gone too far and acknowledged her mistake, saying, "Yaar dekh, mera koi galat irada nahi tha... I accept ki maine hi tumhare bag mein vo erotic book daali thi... but that was just because main chahti thi ki... tu apni boring bina romance ki shaadi mein kuch tadakta badakta karte... kya pata aise hasi mazaak karte tumhe aur Aayansh ko ek dusre se pyaar ho jaaye aur tum dono apni iss samjaute wali shaadi ko ek mauka de asli shaadi mein badalne ki koshish karo."
(Look, I didn't have any wrong intentions.). I accept that I was the one who put that erotic book in your bag, but that was just because I wanted you to add some excitement to your boring, romance-less marriage. Who knows, maybe like this, you and Aayansh might have fallen in love with each other, and you both might have given your arranged marriage a chance to turn into a real one.
Radhi, exhausted from the morning's run with Shivi, sat on the chair simply because she was tired.
However, upon hearing Shivi's entire explanation, she picked up the file from the table and, hitting Shivi lightly with the file on the arm, said, "So, the truth is finally out, and you're the one behind all this."
"Ouch, Radhi, that hurts. I admit I'm considering my mistake now," Shivi defended herself, trying to protect herself.
Radhi then placed the file back on the table and said, "Are you out of your mind? Kuch bhi sochti hai, aisi ulte-sidhe harkaton se kisi ko pyaar hota hai bhala?"
(Does anyone fall in love with such erratic behavior?)
"Why not? That's how it happens in movies," Shivi continued to argue, sticking to her point.
Radhi, tired of Shivi's silliness, rose from her seat and said, "I think I should leave now."
"Oh, there's still time; you can stay," Shivi said, trying to stop her so they could talk more.
"No, no, your shift is about to start. It's better for me to leave," Radhi said, as she was about to pick up her bag from the table when her eyes caught sight of a piece of paper near her feet.
"Shivi, I think this happened when I hit you with the file," Radhi said as she bent down to pick up the paper, holding it out to Shivi. As she read the name written on the paper, her eyes widened in surprise.
When Shivi saw Radhi reading the paper so attentively, she said, "Oh, that's the one that was placed on the table... Yes, Dr. Aditi gave it to me this morning. She's their patient, but she recommended this patient to me because her husband's transfer happened to Surat, and she's leaving with her husband next month. Why? Do you know the patient?"
Radhi thought to herself, "Could it be the person I'm thinking of? But there are many people with the same name; that doesn't mean it's the one I'm thinking of. Oh, I can't seem to understand anything... I think now only Aayansh can tell me the truth behind this."
"What's wrong? What are you thinking?" Shivi asked her.
"Nothing at all... Okay, then, I'm leaving," Radhi said, without wasting any time, as she exited Shivi's cabin.******
In the evening,
Radhi finished her work and arrived home earlier than usual today. She parked her car directly and headed towards her and Ayaansh's room.
Upon entering the room, Radhi noticed that Aayansh was sitting on the sofa, engrossed in his work.
Radhi wanted to talk to him, but she didn't want to disturb Aayansh amidst his work.
Without disturbing Aayansh, Radhi placed her bag in its usual spot and took out clothes from the wardrobe. She then headed to the bathroom to freshen up a bit.
When Radhi came out of the bathroom after freshening up and changing her clothes, she noticed that Aayansh was still sitting on the sofa, but now he was watching a match on TV.
"It looks like his work is done now. I can talk to Aayansh," Radhi thought to herself as she moved closer to Aayansh and sat beside him on the sofa.
Seeing Radhi sitting beside him, Aayansh asked, "Hey, when did you come? And why didn't I notice?"
"Maybe because you were busy with your work," Radhi replied.
"Yeah, I just had a little work left, so I was finishing that up," Aayansh explained.
"Oh, that's good. Then your work is completely finished now, right?" Radhi asked him.
"Yeah, it's done... Kyun? "Kuch kehna tha tumhe?" Aayansh asked.
(Why did you want to say something?)
"Yeah, actually, I wanted to ask you something." Before Radhi could finish her sentence, there was a knock on the door.
Upon hearing the knocking sound and seeing Radhi pause in her speech, Aayansh told her, "You could finish what you were saying. We can open the door later."
But as soon as Radhi is about to speak again after listening to Aayansh's advice, there is another knock on the door. With the second knock, Radhi decided not to ask her question and said, "I think we should see who it is."
Aayansh, acknowledging Radhi's words, went to open the door and found the young, newly joined servant, Jigyasa, standing there.
"Yes, what is it?" Aayansh asked as he saw her.
"Actually, sir, it was time for dinner. Madam has called you downstairs," Jigyasa said.
"Yes, tell her we are coming," Aayansh replied to her.
Upon hearing Aayansh's response, Jigyasa nodded and moved away from the door.
Aayansh returned to where he had been sitting and said to Radhi, "Yes, she came to call us for dinner. Alright, we can go later. Now, tell me what you were saying."
Radhi rose from her seat and said, "Then let's eat first, and then we can talk in detail."
"Kher bhuk to mujhe bhi lagi hai,Aayansh said.
(Well, I'm hungry too.)******
Down in the dining hall, everyone was peacefully having their dinner except for Radhi.
During dinner, Radhi would sometimes glance at Visha, then at her father-in-law, Harsh, and eventually settle beside Aayansh, stealing glances at him.
When Aayansh noticed Radhi's demeanor, he leaned closer to her and softly asked, "Kya hua? Aaj tumhara dhyaan khaane se zyada mujh par hai... kahi tumhe mujhe pyaar to nahi ho gaya?"
(What's wrong? Today, your attention seems to be more on me than on the food... Could it be that you've fallen in love with me?
"Aisa kuch bhi nahi hai, jaisa tum soch rahe ho," Radhi says, gritting her teeth while maintaining a smile on her lips.
(It's not what you're thinking.)
But they were unaware that their whispering to each other seemed to ignite a fire in someone else's heart.
