Demi

I began walking down the stairs slowly. Wilmer stood at the bottom of them, on his phone. Once he heard my clicking heels, he looked up and his jaw dropped, slowly putting his phone in his pocket. I smiled a bit, and on the last step, Wilmer lifted me by my waist down to the ground. He held both my hands and looked me up and down.
"You look absolutely gorgeous."

I smiled and stoked his cheek, "Thank Will."

His eyes fluttered up to meet mine and he leaned forward, pressing his lips to mine and wrapping an arm around my waist to pull me closer. I smiled into the kiss and lifted my foot, bending me leg at the knee in a picture perfect kiss. He pulled away and held out his arm.

"Shall we?"

I wound my arm through his, "Let's go." We walked out, and I gasped at the sight of the huge limo waiting for us. "This is amazing." I murmured, sliding in as Wilmer opened the door. He smiled and intertwined our fingers.

"Anything for you." I rested my head on his shoulder and smiled up at him lovingly. "I love you." He murmured, "I know you can't say it back, but I love you."

I leaned my forehead against his and kissed him again, letting him feel my answer instead of hearing it. We stayed that way for a while, intertwined and occasionally kissing each other softly. When the limo slowed down Wilmer lifted his head.

"We're here." He grinned playfully at me, "Prepare to be wooed."

I smiled and followed him out of the limp, taking his hand as we walked into the huge, fancy restaurant.

"Valderrama." Wilmer said to the hostess, and she led us to a quiet corner table where we would be out of earshot from the others dining there. Once we were seated, and scanned the menu, I spoke.

"This place is amazing."

He smiled over his glass of water at me, "This was your favorite place to eat. You always liked the Chicken Scarpiello, it's their signature dish."

I nodded and put my menu down, "Fine, I'll get that."

He smiled, "Me too."

A waitress came up to us, and introduced herself to us as Isabella. She took our drink orders and I was surprised when Wilmer only got water.

"You don't drink?"

He smiled and shrugged, "Not tonight."

I cocked my head, "Why?"

Wilmer leaned forward, "I'd rather be completely focused on my beautiful date rather than being impaired and having alcohol on my breath when I kiss you."

I couldn't keep the smile off of my face, "Okay."

He too smiled and watched me carefully, "You really do look amazing tonight."

I bit my lip and tucked a piece of hair behind my ear, "Thank you... You look very handsome as well."

He leaned back and shrugged, "I try."

I giggled and leaned on my hand as the waitress came over with our dinner. It smelled amazing. Wilmer lifted his glass and clinked it against mine.

"To you, Hermosa."

I smiled and sipped from my glass, then set it down, and we both dug in.

"This is amazing." I moaned, after a few seconds of eating in silence.

Wilmer smiled, "I'm glad to see you tastebuds haven't changed."

I bit my lip, "I don't think anything has really changed?"

He cocked his head, "What do you mean?"

I shrugged, "I mean, at the hospital when you stepped into the room I was attracted to you, and I definitely knew I had strong feelings for you, I just couldn't decipher them. The first time you kissed me I swear I thought my heart would stop beating. I think my body knew how to respond to you, but my brain didn't."

He smiled, "We always felt like that. You used to tell me there was a war between your heart and your head. You kept telling me to stop loving you and to move on. But you didn't get it, I couldn't stop. I never will."

I bit my lip and smiled, "I think we should get the check now."
