In the heart of Khansaar, a city-state shrouded in darkness and power, Deva sat on his throne. His eyes, cold and calculating, scanned the room, taking in the faces of his subjects. He was the king, the ruler of this dystopian city-state, and he had everything he could ever want.

Aadhya had always been a woman of purpose. As a teacher in the border areas of Assam, she dedicated her life to making a difference. Her world was simple, filled with the laughter of children and the satisfaction of imparting knowledge. She was far removed from the world of Khansaar, a dystopian city-state ruled by violence and power.

That morning, like any other, she woke up to the sound of birds chirping. She prepared her lessons, her heart filled with anticipation for the day ahead. Little did she know, her life was about to change forever.

She was packing up her things, when she again felt that same sensation that she had been feeling since the day Deva left and went to Khansaar.

I really miss him. Even though at first I used to think that he was just like any other boy, he turned out to be different. He turned out to be a man. He fought for me, killed for me, bled for me, even though I was no one to him, he helped me. Saved me from those people but in the end, he was one of the people, the real ruler of Khansaar. After the story that Bilal told me, I was entrapped in it. Khansaar, Varadha, Deva, the Shouryangana's, the Mannar's, everything. but it all came to a screeching halt when Deva left and never even turned his head back to at least say 'Bye'.

I went to the School.

The day went on as every other would.

The sun was setting, casting long shadows over the small village on the outskirts of Assam. I, Aadhya, was wrapping up my day at the makeshift school, a place that had become my second home. The laughter of the children still echoed in my ears as I packed up my things. Little did I know, my life was about to change drastically.

Suddenly, the tranquility was shattered by the roar of engines. A fleet of black SUVs kicked up dust as they sped towards the school. My heart pounded in my chest. I knew who they were. I knew why they were here. Deva.

Before I could react, his men were upon me. Rough hands grabbed me, pulling me towards the vehicles. I fought, I screamed, but it was in vain. They were too strong, too many.

----------------------------------------------------

I never thought I would end up in a place like Khansaar. A place where violence and power rule, where people live in fear and oppression, where the sun never shines and the air is thick with smoke and dust. A place where I dont belong.

But here I am, in the back of a truck, surrounded by armed men, speeding through the barren wasteland that separates Khansaar from the rest of the world. I dont know what they want from me. All I know is that they work for him. The king of Khansaar. Deva.

He is the reason why Im here. He is the reason why my life turned upside down in a matter of minutes. He is the reason why Im terrified and angry and desperate.

Why can't he just come and aske me come to him like a normal person??

I so done with him. Ughh.

I patiently wait for the moment that the guards that he has sent look away. As soon as they do, I quickly jump on the guard nearest to me and try to put him in a choke hold. But it seems that I am very small because, the other guard just pick me up and puts me down.

But I am NOT DONE.

I go for the other guard. I kick him in the balls and try to steal a gun from the first guard, but suddenly, there is a needle sticking in my neck and I am starting to feel drowsy.

All I remember before fainting again is the guards heaving a peaceful breath.
