The four teens were walking through a luscious forest, trees rose from all around them and bushes surrounded the area. The most beautiful dark green colour could be seen for miles, Amaya found herself breathless by the sight, she had an awestruck look on her face as she took in her surroundings. Percy who was also taking in the stunning area looked to Amaya who was walking beside him, he found himself stuck staring at her, the way she was looking at the nature amazed him. She looked so intrigued and so curious; it was quite the sight in Percy's opinion.

"Somewhere up ahead, this turns into a satyr path." Grover was the first to speak since the group had gotten away from the bus.

"What's a satyr path?" Percy asked. He found himself asking quite a few questions on this quest.

"It's a road through the wilderness. Satyr explores use them. Harder to track us." Grover explained as they looked around.

"That's great, but if we stay in the wilderness, how are we gonna find a phone?" Percy asked again.

"What do we need a phone for?" Amaya spoke up.

"So, we can call camp." Percy stated as if it were obvious. "T-to get help." He continued when he realized none of the others were catching on.

"We don't need help. We're fine." Annabeth claimed.

"We're fine?" Percy questioned looking at Amaya and Grover for a second before going back to reasoning with Annabeth, "We haven't even gotten to Trenton, and we're wondering through a forest. I didn't even know they had forests in New Jersey, but we've found one. I would say we're the opposite of fine."

"We were sent on a quest by the Oracle, by the gods. What'd you think, it would be easy?" Annabeth answered. She looked back to Percy before turning her gaze to Amaya and rolling her eyes. "It's supposed to be hard. That's why only certain people are chosen. If we call camp, we are basically saying it was a mistake to choose us."

"I'm completely comfortable with that. Everyone makes mistakes." Percy decided shrugging his shoulders.

"Why are you so afraid of who you are?" Annabeth accused spinning around to face Percy.

"Annabeth, please. Let's not do this now." Amaya sighed looking at the girl. She knew exactly what was going to happen and was not in the mood for it now.

"What?" Percy asked Annabeth slightly offended and completely ignoring Amaya.

"You know, what's interesting about this particular satyr path is it's actually the one my Uncle Ferdinand took when he set out on his own quest." Grover spilled trying to get the two to stop fighting.

"What's that supposed to mean, afraid of who I am? I'm not afraid." Percy stated turning back to Annabeth.

"Yes, you are." Annabeth declared. "You aren't just a kid. "Just a kid" doesn't do what you did to Clarisse back at camp. "Just a kid" doesn't have Hades sending top lieutenants to retrieve them. You know you are a part of something so much bigger than we can understand right now. We have to move forward, whether you like it or not, whether you want to or not."

"You don't wanna call camp, fine. Then let's at least call your mom." Annabeth's face fell at what Percy had just said to her.

"Excuse me?" She pushed. Percy was oblivious enough not to realize that she wasn't asking him to elaborate.

"Athena? Your mother. I'd call my father, but we aren't exactly on speaking terms. You know, because of the lifelong neglect and all, and I don't think we should call Amaya's father considering he's Hades and all. But you and your mother seem close. So why don't we ask her for help?" Percy elaborated even though it was clearly not wanted.
