Uri woke up around three that next morning, wide awake. She stared up at the ceiling for a moment before pushing off her blanket and sitting up. She rubbed her eyes, getting them adjusted to the dark room. When they finally did, she noticed a bag on her table and got and went over to it. She opened it and pulled out the fresh, new clothes she now had. That must have been why Bobby was out for so long, she thought, smiling. He had picked out a brown shirt with a pair of almost black skinny jeans and some combat running boots. Imagining Bobby going through the women's section for clothing while trying to guess the size of a woman he just met was hysterical to Uri.
She grabbed her bag of new clothes and went to the bathroom. She looked into the mirror and laughed. How did this all happen? She shook her head and her frizzy hair wiggled. She took off her old, torn up clothes and started the shower. She needed one.
When she was done she dried herself off and put her new clothes on. Surprisingly, they fit almost perfectly. The shirt comfortably loose, the pants were ever so slightly tight, and the shoes were about a half a size too big. She was impressed with Bobby. She ran her hands through her hair, trying to get every knot and tangle out. When she was satisfied she took the towel and squeezed as much water out as she possibly could. She shook her hair and let the brown semi-wet curls fall around her shoulders. Feeling refreshed, she grabbed her old clothes and threw them away.
Then she went downstairs and was surprised to see Bobby up. He was sitting at the table in the kitchen and reading a newspaper. "Hello." She greeted with a soft smile and a slight wave.
"Good morning... Uri, is it?" He asked.
"Yes, sir."
"Oh, you don't have to be so formal. Call me Bobby." He held his hand out waiting for her to shake it. She obliged. "Well, Bobby, it's nice to meet you." She said with a nod. "And might I add, you have extremely good guessing skills." She laughed.
Bobby looked at her for a second before remembering the clothes he got her. "Oh," he said and chuckled, "yeah, I guess I do. I'm glad they fit at least."
"Me too." She said laughing with him. She sensed an extremely strong sense of loyalty and kindness within Bobby and that made her heart lift. She pulled out a chair and sat down across from Bobby. He kept shifting in his chair and Uri knew he had some questions to ask. They were running around like crazy in his mind. "Go ahead." She invited.
"Go ahead and what?" He asked.
"Ask me. You have a couple questions, if I'm correct."
He raised his eyebrows. "Well, I guess I can scratch off a few already. The boys were right, you are an angel."
"Well, Castiel said that I'm not a full angel yet. He said that I have yet to learn my power and that my wings are not yet at their full size." She reached behind her back and ran a hand through one of her wings, pulling out a bunch of small, fluffy gray feathers while doing so. She held her hand out to Bobby showing him her baby feathers. He took one and observed it in awe. "So, are you like, a fledgling?" He asked still looking at her feather.
"I guess. If that's what you call a baby angel." She answered while dumping the other feathers on the table.
"Huh. How long have you known you where an angel?"
"Since last night actually, when Castiel told me."
"Then I assume that you don't have your angel mojo yet?"
