More like thunderstorms on a stormy night, it sounded,
I hope you heard me clearly.
Then, in an instant, I'm at a loss for words.
As if I were muted,
And your face says it all.
I was not loud enough for you to hear.
I bit my lip and smiled bitterly.
Whispering the words,
It is there, and you’ll never know.
