Into The Inferno

[We open in on the Human Realm in a little town called Fortuna. In an orphanage, A little girl is getting picked on by a couple of boys until a voice is heard.]

???: HEY!

[The boys look over to see Y/n before he got his Devil Bringer.]

Boy 1: [He laughs.] Well, look who it is, it's that white-haired freak

Boy 2: Trying to play savior huh?-

[One of the boys gets cut off mid-sentence as Y/n punches him which knocks him into a couple of trashcans. The other boys are there in shock as Y/n turns around to face them.]

Y/n: Alright, who's next in line? [The other boys run off in fear. Y/n then turns towards the girl as he helps her up.] What's your name?

???: K-Kyrie...

Y/n: Well Kyrie, seems like those boys won't bother you anymore.

Kyrie: R-Right, thanks... [Y/n helps her stand.]

Y/n: I've never seen you around here before, are you new?

Kyrie: Oh, no I'm not. I'm just accompanying my parents...

Y/n: Oh you mean the ones helping around here?

Kyrie: [She chuckels.] So you know them.

Y/n: Yeah I guess... It must be nice having parents. Never knew who mine were...  nor given the chance to know...

Kyrie: Well... I believe that people deserve second chances. 

[She smiles at Y/n as he smiles back.]

Y/n: Well come on, let's get back to them. [She nods as she follows Y/n back.]

𝟏𝟎 𝐘𝐄𝐀𝐑𝐒 𝐋𝐀𝐓𝐄𝐑...

[We open up on a 20-year-old Kyrie in what seems to be a cathedral as a light shines down on her. In the next scene, we see a 19-year-old Y/n running in the direction of the cathedral wearing an arm sling. Cut back to Kyrie who begins singing as her voice echoes away in the building. Outside, the Y/n runs but is stopped to see weird demonic creatures. He looks at them with an irritated face and charges towards them. He does a flying kick which knocks one into a group making all of them fall. He punches a few of them and sends them into a wall. One tries to attack him with its bladed arm but Y/n stops it and throws the creature, ripping its arm in the process as the blade is in the air. Y/n catches it as he starts slicing through them. Cut back to Kyrie who is continuing the song as she sees Y/n's empty seat, which makes her a bit worried. Cut back to Y/n who is wall-running as he uses the demonic creatures as stepping stones. He jumps around and defeats all of the creatures in the end. He runs towards the cathedral in a hurry. As Kyrie finishes the song, Y/n is there just in time in his seat as they both smile at each other with the crowd applauding.]

[Cut to later to what looks to be a priest in the spotlight of the cathedral.]

Priest: Years ago... the Dark Knight Sparda, turned against his demon brethren and took up his sword for the sake of mankind. Though despite his brave efforts in our names. I fear some have forgotten the truth of that great sacrifice. [Y/n is seen sitting, feeling a bit bored, and not listening to the priest. Credo (Kyrie's brother and a guard captain sees Y/n and is not surprised.] If the events of that terrible time to reoccur, the fusing of both the demonic and human realms, we, weak humans would have no means by which to oppose our submission. [Kyrie walks down next to Y/n who is minding his own business, Y/n notices her and he wears his headphones. Kyries then sees a little gift next to Y/n that's meant for her. She smiles as she sits down with Y/n.] And so I ask you to unite! And pray that even if such a dark time of chaos were to revisit us, our gracious Savior would shelter us from the storm. Let us pray!
