[Cut to when Lute exits Adam's room. She's in a hallway clenching her fist, looking distraught as she slowly goes down to sit. But then, someone walks up to her.]
???: Who might you be, troubled one?
[Lute looks up to see Mundus.]
Adam (hallucination): Who the fuck is this guy?
Lute: Who are you...?
Mundus: I am, Mundus
Lute: Wait... But they said you died years ago!?
Mundus: Nonsense, it was merely a sabbatical, nothing too important. But it seems my disappearance has been a surprise to a few.
Lute: *Salutes him.* Sir!
Mundus: Now now, there's no need for all that. Now, what's troubling you?
Lute: Well... it's these demons... they seem to be able to get redeemed all through that horrid hotel Lucifer's brat has made.
Mundus: I see... Is Adam here with you?
[Lute is silent for a few seconds until she speaks up.]
Lute: He... died during the last extermination... *Sits back down against the wall.*
Mundus: *He kneels down with her.* That must be difficult to process... But how are you feeling now?
Lute: I feel like... someone's going to face retribution...
Mundus: Well, how about I help you with that?
Lute: How?
Mundus: I'll tell you how, but you must promise me something
Lute: What is it...?
Mundus: Don't tell anyone about our little interaction. Not even of my return.
[Mundus reaches out his hand and has a small smile on his face.]
Lute: *She looks hesitant but then remembers the last extermination and takes Mundus' hand.*
[An ominous tone settles in with Mundus doing a "shush" gesture as it fades to black.]
[Cut to the present where Y/n and Kyrie finally meet each other again.]
Y/n: ARE YOU DEAD!?!?!?!
Kyrie: WHAT? NO! ARE YOU DEAD?!?!
Y/n: NO!?! HOW DID THIS HAPPEN!?!
Emily: Can both of you please keep it down?
[Emily shushes them since it's night time and Y/n and Kyrie quiet down, looking embarrassed.]
