𝐍𝐎𝐍𝐈 𝐒𝐓𝐀𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐀𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐂𝐄𝐈𝐋𝐈𝐍𝐆, as he laid on the bed of his and aurora's shared appartment. he had come home expecting her to be home and anticipating an angry talk which would result in them kissing and making up, but when he opened the door to their london home, he was met with silence, and the house was never silent so he knew she wasn't home. he had tried calling her to ask if she would be home anytime but his calls weren't going through.
as he continued to stare at the ceiling like a lovesick puppy who was expecting a solution to fall from the skies, he decided to try and make the time when rory was out of the house to do something romantic for her.
noni began his journey at the very flower shop he bought the flowers that he had used to confess his love for rory at her album release party all those months ago in august, he smiled at the familiar memory, how different things had been just 4 months ago and how different they would possibly be in another 4 months.
he stepped into the flower shop and the florist gave him a look that let him know she remmebered him.
"same order as last time?" she asked giving him a knowing smile.
"yeah." he said giving a sheepish smile as he scratched the back of his neck
"can you make it like 12 bouquets instead of 1, it's a grand gesture."
"i thought last time was a grand gesture."
"this is a grander gesture."
"alright, 12 bouquets of pink tulips and white roses, i'll get steven to put them in your boot." the florist smiled as noni put in his pin and walked outside to his car. after leaving the flower shop noni went to the nearby supermarket and ordered the indegredients for rory's favourite dinner, steak frites. he'd made it under her supervision a few times so he knew what to do but he'd never done it alone, so he made sure to get her favourite bottle of red wine just incase his cooking skills failed him.

3 hours later, and noni was done cooking and setting up the whole house, he figured rory would be back soon, but he never really thought of what would happen if she wasn't planning on returning home that day, well too late for that now. he decided to call cole and ask him if he knew where rory was and what time she'd be back, as the line began to ring he heard rory's keys in the door and suddenly he began to panic, he threw his apron off and changed his shirt to a cleaner one before rushing impatiently to the front door.
"hey rory." he said smiling at her as she looked at him with an expression that noni couldn't quite read before walking into the house and looking around in surprise.
"rory, i just wanted to apologise about the fight we had and for not coming over to spend christmas with you, i know it's your favourite holiday and i know you wanted us to spend the day together and im just so sorry for being so immature and not even calling and im sorry for spending the day with a woman right after we day fought the day before, it was stupid and petty, but rory i just want to let you know there's nothing between me and rubi, she has something going on with jadon and i would never do that to you, i love you aurora."
"i love you too, i'm sorry for not telling you about eddie's party."
"no need to apologize, i was never really mad at you, just jealous."
