02; A Splash Of Love

"Baby, are you sure you want to go on this swimming date?" Jungkook asks as they're packing some new clothes to change into later.

"Why did you ask like that?" Jimin stops what he's doing and looks up at Jungkook.

"I just remembered that you're covered in my marks...everywhere," His eyes trace Jimin's body from head to toe. "But don't get me wrong. I want to make sure you feel comfortable enough to go to a public space like that. I don't want you to feel like you have to suck it up only because you want to take me on this date,"

"Love~ You're so sweet," Jimin scoffs fondly and pulls Jungkook into his embrace. "Please know that little things like this always make me love you even more," He leans in for a quick kiss on the lips.

"It's not little things, baby. As if I don't know how shy you still are despite being in our fifth year of marriage," He pulls Jimin closer, pressing Jimin's body a little harder into his. "And, not everyone is comfortable enough to let people see their body covered in hickies. Also, I know you don't mind people seeing my marks littered all over your neck but this will be the first time you'll be seen covered in my marks all over your body on this scale. Like, you won't be swimming fully clothed, would you? You'll be at least swimming in your shorts and that means, your body is 80% visible to others,"

"I know, My Love. I'm fully aware of that," Jimin smiles sweetly. "Thank you for considering every single thing like that. It's making me feel warm inside,"

"You know that's the bare minimum to do for your loved one, baby," He presses a soft kiss on Jimin's forehead.

"But still, I'm grateful for that," He can feel himself melting into Jungkook's tender touch. "Don't worry, I've got everything under my control so you only need to make sure that you're enjoying this date. Okay, My Love?" His smile widens as Jungkook nods.

"Wait for a moment, I'll come back," Jungkook says and walks out of their room. "Just a moment," He says again to the confused Jimin before disappearing behind the door.

"Cutie," Jimin scoffs to himself and continues to finish packing up. Then, he goes to get ready for their date.

"Baby~?!" It takes Jungkook less than five minutes to come back with his clingy tone.

"I'm in the wardrobe, My Love," Jimin quickly puts his clothes on and walks out only to be greeted by Jungkook's bunny smile. "What are you up to this time, you silly?" He shakes his head when Jungkook keeps staring at him with that smile while his hands hide behind his back as Jimin walks closer towards him.

"Tada~! Happy fifth anniversary, My Baby!" He wishes excitedly as he pulls out a bag that he has been hiding behind his back. "Present,"

"Aww~~ You do this every single year~," Jimin exclaims as it never gets old for him to stop loving a surprise gift. "Love~ You're messing up with my feelings a lot today,"

"Of course, I have to; Because I love you," Jungkook grins proudly as he loves the way Jimin reacts to every gift he ever got him because he can see how much Jimin appreciates them. "Open it," He guides Jimin to the bed, waiting for Jimin to open the gift.

"It's so cute~!" Jimin pouts when he pulls out a nicely wrapped box from the bag only to get his jaw dropped, gasping loudly once he unwrapped it. "No way! Don't you dare- You have to be kidding me," He alternately looks up at Jungkook with his disbelief eyes while completely unboxing the gift.

Jungkook on the other hand just watches him in silence, enjoying every reaction from Jimin proudly. He mentally pats himself on the back, telling himself that he did a good job choosing that gift for his husband.
