JIMIN

As the weeks pass since our eventful trip to Busan, life settles back into its familiar rhythm for our group of friends. The days pass in our usual way, and Busan's vibrant memories begin to fade like the remnants of a dream.

The morning sun filters through the windows of InnoDesign Studio, casting a warm glow over the bustling workspace. I sit at my desk, engrossed in my work as a graphic designer, the soft hum of creativity filling the air.

Yet, beneath the surface of normalcy, an unsettling feeling lingers in the back of my mind. It starts as a subtle unease, a prickling sensation at the nape of my neck that refuses to be ignored.

"Strange... I definitely see someone from the corner of my eyes just now," I murmur to myself while frowning.

As I work on a new project, I can't shake the feeling of being watched. Now and then, I glance over my shoulder, half-expecting to find someone lurking in the shadows. But the office is filled with the usual sounds of typing keyboards and murmured conversations, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Jimin-ah, you good?" Seokjin hyung's voice rings through my ear, gaining my attention. "You seem a bit on edge today."

"Oh, hyung. Yeah, I'm fine," I offer a small smile to Seokjin. "Just got this weird feeling, you know?"

"About what?"

"No, nothing. I'm just hallucinating, I guess," I shake my head.

"Go easy on yourself, Jimin-ah. I know this project is important for you, but overworking yourself is not good for you either," Seokjin hyung pats my back, a gesture of encouragement for his younger colleague. "Maybe that's why you're feeling on edge lately."

"Right. Thanks, hyung."

Brushing off my unease as mere paranoia, I focus on my work, determined not to let my imagination run wild. But as the day wears on, the feeling of being watched intensifies, like invisible eyes boring into my back.

During my lunch break, I step out of the office for some fresh air, hoping to shake off the lingering sense of unease. Yet, as I walk down the busy street, I can't shake the feeling of being followed.

Glancing over my shoulder, my heart skips a beat when I catch a glimpse of a figure ducking behind a corner. My pulse quickens, adrenaline coursing through my veins as I quicken my pace, trying to shake off my pursuer.

"Pull yourself together, Jimin. Everyone has their own destination to reach. You're not a celebrity to have someone following you discreetly," I scold myself, trying to prevent myself from panicking and worsening my negative thoughts.

Returning to the office, I can't shake the feeling of being watched. Every shadow seems to hold a hidden threat, every sound amplified in my ears. Yet, when I glance around, there is no one out of the ordinary, just my colleagues going about their day.

As the workday comes to a close, I can't shake the feeling that something is terribly wrong. The sense of foreboding weighs heavily on my shoulders, casting a shadow over my usual cheerful demeanour.

Jungkook sits in his office at IAN Enterprise, his attention divided between the reports on his desk and the view of the city skyline beyond the window. Despite the serene atmosphere of his office, a sense of restlessness gnaws at him, like a storm brewing on the horizon.

"Mr. Jeon, your next appointment is here," Namjoon, Jungkook's assistant, announces as he steps into the room.

Jungkook looks up from his work, his brow furrowing slightly. "Already? Send them in."
