As the days melt into weeks and the weeks stretch into months, the tension between Jimin and Jungkook remains an unspoken presence, casting a shadow over their once vibrant relationship. Each passing day seems to only deepen the chasm between them, leaving the air heavy with unresolved emotions.

In the midst of this palpable tension, Jimin finds solace in the familiar warmth of his friendship with Hobi, his closest confidant and ally. They sit in their favourite cafe, the scent of freshly brewed coffee mingling with the soft murmur of conversation. Jimin unloads the weight of his worries onto Hobi's shoulders.

"I don't know what to do, Hoba," Jimin confesses, his voice tinged with frustration. "It's like we're living in two separate worlds, Jungkook and I. No matter how hard I try, I can't seem to break through to him."

Hobi listens intently, his expression sympathetic as he reaches across the table to squeeze Jimin's hand reassuringly. "I know it's tough, Jimin-ah. But you have to remember: relationships take work. Maybe it's just a rough patch you're going through."

Jimin nods, grateful for Hobi's unwavering support. "I hope you're right, Hoba. I just miss the way things used to be, you know?"

"I'm not sure if this helps but whatever decision you make, I hope you can always keep in mind why you two decided to get married in the first place," Hobi's voice dripping with encouragement. "Remember? Back in college? When almost everyone is against your relationship with Jungkook hyung, you guys still stand strong and fight for you two. What I'm trying to say is, I believe that your love wins all no matter how hard the path is going to be. Come back to your foundation and see if you can find the answer."

Jimin falls into silence at Hobi's long yet meaningful speech. He knows and totally understands what Hobi says but deep inside, he also knows that things aren't going to be as easy as it sounds.

For some unknown reasons...

Meanwhile, in another corner of the city, Jungkook finds himself seeking solace in the company of his best friend, Taehyung. They sit perched on the rooftop of Taehyung's apartment building, the city skyline twinkling in the distance as they share a quiet moment of camaraderie.

"You seem lost in thought, Jungkook-ah," Taehyung remarks, his keen gaze studying Jungkook's troubled expression.

Jungkook sighs, running a hand through his hair in frustration. "It's just...things with Jimin haven't been the same lately. I don't know what's going on in his head because I noticed that he has been losing it lately."

Taehyung places a comforting hand on Jungkook's shoulder, his voice gentle yet firm. "Relationships are like plants, Jungkook. They need care and attention to flourish. Maybe it's time you watered the garden of your love with some heartfelt conversations."

"I did, tae..." Jungkook sighs. "I admit that I've been so caught up with work but I can't help it. Even so, I still pay enough attention to him when I'm home. Not that I love him less lately. In fact, I came to miss him even more. I just don't get it...where did things go wrong..."

"You tell me, dude. When things go South, isn't communicating the best way to break through a person? You told me that, remember?" Taehyung gives an encouraging smile. "You're my best friend, Jungkook-ah. But sorry to say, even I myself can see there's an underlying ego beneath you. Something I can't even pinpoint what is it that leads you to this."

"You're saying that I'm the reason why Jimin and I grow apart these days?" Jungkook is about to get offended.

"If you and Jimin don't even know what's going on between you two right now, how can I, a bystander know?" Taehyung calmly says. "Sometimes, subtle changes in a relationship can also be the reason why the miscommunication gets worse. I'm just saying that maybe it's best for you two to come back to your foundation. It's true that there are no couples that don't argue. But what matters is how they solve it for the sake of both of them. For the relationship itself. It never ends in a good way to let the tension settle in for a long time, you know."
