Monika: Born and raised in Moscow Russia, Alice Gehabich lived alone with her grandfather, until one day a bunch of cards fell from the sky. Alice showed her Grandfather one of these cards.
Junko: And like any old man he just had to experiment. And like any experiment, it had to backfire.
Monika: And that it did. Alice was struck with a blast of negative energy created by Naga, who passed through Dr. Michael's dimension transporter. The negative energy turned her into Masquerade, and her grandfather into Hal-G. On top of that, Masquerade would have his own Bakugan, Hydranoid.
Monika: Hydronoid is able to level entire skyscrapers and make an entire stadium shake with his presence alone! With a swing of his tail, he can pierce through other Bakugan and he even caused a whole pocket dimension to collapse on itself!
Junko: He's matched Dragonoid to draw multiple times and survived the full power of the fire-breathing dragon.
Monika: Of course, none of this would matter without Alice herself.
Monika: Thanks to her friends, Alice broke free from Masquerade's control. But even without him, she's very skilled in using Hydronoid. She's an expert strategist. Even during the time Alice never battled before, she still helped the Bralwers by giving them strategies to beat opponents. And she could use these strategies when using Hydronoid.
Junko: And she has the right Ability Cards to do it. Yeah, remember those Cards I mentioned earlier? Yeah, Alice has her own and they give Hydrion special attacks. Starting in his base form!
