I stare at the texts Lumine sent with guilt as I walk home at a quick pace.

[Im so sorry Lumi I fell asleep at Xiao's house and didn't mean to stay so late!]

God I'm an idiot... I feel tears of guilt prick my eyes. She must be so annoyed... I press my lips together and start sprinting.

I finally make it home, I unlock the door to instantly feel a small pair of arms around me.
"Paimon was so worried!" A little flying fairy looked up at me, sniffling.
"You didn't text me at all! YOU WERE GONE FOR 3 HOURS!" Lumine screamed in my face before pulling me into an aggressive hug.
"I'm sorry..." I murmured.

We all had dinner before I ran upstairs and Jumped onto my bed.

Xiao POV:
Oh god. He almost called me out on calling him. That was a close one. I sigh, although I find my edges of my lips tipped into a smile.

"Xiaaoooooooo~! Dinerrssss readyyyyy~" I hear Childe's annoying voice call from downstairs.

Ugh, annoying brat. I then frown before texting Aether a quick goodbye.
I walk downstairs to instantly smell my favourite food, warm almond tofu. Yum.
I sit down and serve myself when Childe starts talking.
"So, Xiao. What did you and Aether work on?" He said suggestively, Zhongli smiled with him.
"A-aether fell asleep on my shoulder..." I murmur.
"How sweet." Zhongli smiles before be takes another bite out of his food.
"Did Aether get home safely?" Zhongli added, worry flashed in his eyes.
"Yes, he texted me." I look down and shove a piece of almond tofu to hide my shy smile.
"Oh? He texted you? You have his number?" Childe smirked.
"Yes." I say straightforward.
"OoOooO~ Xiao~ Do you have a crush on him?~~~" Childe giggles and my face turns bright red.
"Tartaglia, stop embarrassing him." Zhongli said calmly.
"Fine." Childe turned back to his food, but side eyed me and smiled.
We all continued eating.

I get changed into my pyjamas and leap onto my bed, holding my phone above my face, eager to see if Aether texted me.
God, I do have a crush on Aether... My thoughts are interrupted by a notification from my phone, it's from Aether. My hearts pace speeds up.
