The three Foord sisters along with their mother sat in the living room, enjoying a peaceful silence as they re-watched boy meets world, for what felt like the millionth time when Evangeline's phone rang loudly.

She stole a quick peek at it, catching Katie's contact. An unknowing smile appearing on her lips.

"Who's that?" Jamie questioned

"Arsenal manager." Evan quickly replied "I'll be back." She told them, before answering the call and immediately exiting the room. "I can't escape you, can I?"

Katie chuckled "you love me."

"Unfortunately, on your behalf, I answered this call to tell you that the feelings between us are no longer mutual and I am delivering the ring back to you now." Evangeline joked "I miss you. Honestly I need to be saved from this place, my sisters have been down my back ever since they saw the ring."

"Well shit" Katie cursed "I'm screwed aren't I? Should I buy them the supplies they need to bury me?"

Evan laughed "I'm sure they'll come around, mum explained their behaviour, saying they're most likely not ready for me to grow up in this kind of way. Neither of them are married and suddenly the youngest is."

On the other side of the line, Katie softly hummed "I would absolutely feel the same way if one of my sisters got married before me."

Evan smiled, taking a seat on her bed "I don't think they're gonna expect it to be you, though. Even mumma was confused when I told her — speaking of, she wants to go out for dinner sometime, be prepared to meet Mumma Foord for a proper time."

"Wasn't my first introduction enough?"

Evangeline rolled her eyes "she called you 'the agreesive' one of the field."

"She what?" Katie gasped "why didn't you tell me sooner Evan! Fuck, fuck, fuck. Okay. Booking a restaurant for tonight, does tonight sound good. Please tell me it does."

Evangeline giggled at her fiancé "I'll meet you at Macca's around your hotel, mumma prefers Macca's than big restaurants."

"Macca? As in your goalkeeper teammate for the Matilda's?" Katie questioned

"No Katie, McDonalds."

Katie hummed "okay. McDonald's. Does seven sound alright?"

"Six. The playground shuts at seven." Evangeline replied, looking towards her clock. It was four o'clock. "I'll have to find a way to get mumma away from the other two. I'll see you soon."

Katie groaned "two hours is so long!"

"You wanted it to be three." Evan reminded her "I love you."

"You make me want to throw up."

"Oh?" Evan raised her brows, although Katie couldn't see her "does the thought of my love break you to the core?"

"No. You just make me nervous." Katie laughed "wait — what do I wear?"

"Clothes?" Evan joked "seriously love, it's Macca's. Show up in galaxy leggings and a one direction shirt, no shoes and no one's gonna care."

"I have a feeling you know from experience."

"Goodbye" Evan smiled "I'll see you soon."

Katie huffed "I miss you."

"Of course you do."

Evangeline walked into her living room, wearing a light red dress covered in a variety of flowers with white converse, her hair tied back into a half up half down bun and a bow tied around the bun.
