CHAPTER TWO!
ALEJANDRA WAS SITTING on the floor of her room, leaning against her bed. The light was off in her room, the only light coming from the slightly opened curtain and the door.
"Ale, your brother said you were— oh my god, what died in here?" Francesca said walking into Alejandra's bedroom. She turned the light on, and the room wasn't messy— things were just misplaced and Alejandra's duvet was coving her while she sat on the floor. An empty pizza box was on the bed with a cover for an ice cream container.
"Love died," Alejandra mumbled. "What do you guys want?" Alejandra staring at the trio of girls— her best friends. "I can't go to the studio, I can't see him."
"We're not here to make you go to the studio, Ale," Violetta stated. "We wanted to make sure you were alive, first of all."
"We're here to cheer you up!" Camila finished. She motioned the picnic basket Violetta was carrying.
"Me and Diego went on picnics!" Alejandra cried, hiding her face in the blanket.
"But he never brought you all the desserts that you love that Olga makes!" Violetta added. "Even the triple chocolate cake with—"
"The raspberry filling?" The blanket called out. Seconds later, Alejandra's head popped out from the blanket. "I love Olga, what else did she make?"
"What did she not make is the better question," Violetta responded. "But first, you need to shower."
"No, I'm happy with the way I am now," Alejandra stated.
"Yeah, our nostrils are not," Francesca admitted. "Come on, let's stand up." Francesca threw the blanket to the side and grabbed Alejandra's hands and pulled her to her feet. Camila helped her stay on her feet.
"You're weirdly strong," Alejandra commented. "But why do I need to shower? I don't plan on leaving my bedroom until forever."
"If you don't get in the shower, I will make you shower," Francesca threatened. "Don't think I won't."
Alejandra knew Francesca was freakishly strong, and she still tried to fight against the shower. It ended up with Alejandra lying on the floor of the shower in her pajamas until they were soaked. She didn't have a choice but to shower.
When she walked back into her bedroom, the girls had picked up the small mess and put stuff back where they belonged. They even hid the picture frames that were of Alejandra and Diego.
"I hate boys, I thought he loved me, and then I told him that I loved him— like I was in love with him, he said he loved me but he didn't really mean it," Alejandra told the girls while eating the chocolate cake. "Maybe I'm not meant to find love, because with everyone I loved they break my heart."
"You'll find someone, Ale. It took Vilu and León months to realize what they mean to each other, and now they're happier than ever!" Camila stated.
"Well, Vilu and León are soulmates," Alejandra poked at the cake. "At this point, I think my soulmate must be in a different country— or a different continent, probably a different planet. A different galaxy!"
"There could be really hot aliens," Francesca commented. "Aliens could look like Chris Evans. I'd like to live on that planet."
"You'll find your person, Ale. And if we're your persons for now, I'll take it as a serious job," Camila added. "Chicks before dicks."
"He was so good with his—"
"Okay, that's too much information," Violetta interrupted. "We don't need to know how good he was."
"If a guy can play guitar and the piano, he's going to be good with his fingers," Francesca stated. "We need to find a rebound for Ale."
"Fran, isn't it too soon for a rebound?" Camila questioned.
"It's never too soon for a rebound— that's the purpose of a rebound. It's so Ale can just push herself back into the dating world without really caring about dating. To show Diego that you never really needed him," Francesca said. "I have a cousin coming to visit from Italy, he's more of a fling person anyways, and he'll be back in Italy after a week. The perfect rebound."
it's not fede though!
