The sun beamed through the windows, filling the room slowly as the sun rose. Raven's eyes opened only to be assaulted by the bright light that had flooded her room, she quickly covered her eyes to avoid being blinded further then she'd already been.
The footsteps from outside the room slowly grew louder, the maid walking down the hallway, Juni, dreaded having to go in there and having to deal with the blank stare Miss Raven always gave her. The servants who took care of Lady dove said she greeted them with a smile every morning.
She knocked on the door, the cold voice of the young girl bled out into the hallway. "come in" it said, she walked in and looked at miss Raven, the long brown hair and emotionless eyes, almost like they were staring right through her.
"Good morning Miss Raven" Juni said, giving her fakest smile.
"Good morning Juni" Raven said, she knew Juni disliked her, in all honesty every one of her servants disliked her. They were all jealous of Doves servants who say she showers them in words of praise and gifts, Raven did not understand dove. Servants are servants not playmates that you exchange gifts with.
Juni walked over to Her closet, grabbing the closest dress too her. A black dress with lace embroidered at the chest and bottom of the sleeves, she quickly helped raven get dressed. Buckling her heels and putting her hair in a low bun, making Raven appear like a woman at an eligible age for marriage.
Raven admired, no looked at herself in the mirror. She always looked the same, the same dark dresses and hairstyle resembling someone going to a funeral. She walked out the room, Juni following behind. Soon enough raven made it to the dining room and saw her...family.
Her father, her stepmother, her two older half brothers who were glaring at her, and dove, with her stupid smile. Raven quickly sat down across from dove, the only one who greeted her. "Good morning sissy!" Dove shouted exuberantly, Raven just nodded her head and glanced at dove.
She noticed the necklace dove was wearing, it was hers! Raven stood up abruptly and glared at dove.
"That's my necklace dove! You stole it! Do you know how rude that is!" Raven shouted, dove looked at her, like a kicked puppy.
"I'm sorry sister, it was so pr-" dove tried to say before being cut of by raven. "Its mine! You can't steal peoples things just because you think their pretty! You dirty little thief!" Raven shouted.
Dove looked like she was going to start sobbing "I was going to ask, but I didn't want to wake you!" She said weakly. "That is not an excuse! Are you that impatient!?" Raven practically sqwauked at her. Just as dove was going to speak the count spoke up "Raven! She is young! Let her be!"
Raven felt like she was going to burst, the necklace! The necklace was hers! What dove did was theft whether she knew better or not. A commoner child would be executed or imprisoned! And what was dove? A commoner child!
