What a shitty conference. There was nothing to offer this time around. Dude, Friday night was crazy. I ended up going to a bar with Blake and a few of the other guys after a later event. Blake had to leave early to go rescue Natalie, who was at our hotel with a coworker and two of his former coworkers. Apparently she was so high she could barely function. Our coworker later told me...

"She started with half a gummy, waited 45 minutes, and nothing happened. So she took the other half. She said she was a lightweight, but I didn't think it was that bad. I consider myself a lightweight. She began feeling it real bad and called Blake to come get her. I took her down to the lobby to wait, and her contacts completely dried up. She took them out and dropped them on the floor. Blake took forever, but he arrived. I walked her out to the car and they left. I hope she never has to experience something like that again. Jon shouldn't have offered one."

The weed gummy was 10 milligrams. I remember Natalie saying how baked she got with 2.5... taking this was a terrible idea. Even half would've been bad. I've never been around a high Natalie, but Blake said that she's pretty adorable before she starts to panic.

Later, Natalie described her experience.

"Any time I closed my eyes, I began seeing imagery of stuff that I feel like I used to see in my head when I was a child... like two and three years old. Or younger. It just felt like hundreds of images that I saw at that age were unlocked. I don't know if they were dreams, but it really felt like I was on acid more than weed."

I didn't get that drunk at the bar after Blake left. I had my hotel room to myself. My coworker had his own room. At around midnight, I decided to retire for the night and return to the hotel. As I walked out, I noticed somebody... it looked like Colin. But it was so dark I really couldn't tell. He was living out of state, so I wondered why he traveled all the way here for the conference, if that was even him. I ignored it and just kept going. He could've been anyone. Honestly, I was so tired that I figured I was hallucinating. Maybe I'd call him next week. We were still close friends.

The hotel was a half mile away, but getting there took longer than it should have due to construction between it and the conference center. I arrived just fine, no worries at all, and headed to my room.

I was just about to get ready for bed when someone knocked on my door. A knock on my hotel room after midnight was definitely a little jarring. I tip-toed to the door and looked through the peephole. It was Colin. I guess that was him I saw on the way out. I opened it, wondering if I was making a mistake.

Colin stepped inside almost as soon as there was enough room to fit between the door and the frame. He didn't say anything. I couldn't; my stomach was about to turn. He looked exactly the same as when we dated. His dark eyes stared into my amber eyes. He was in far enough that the door shut on its own. He did the deadbolt. There was no backing out anymore.

Our lips crushed each other. I had no idea if this man was even sober enough to consent, but I just went with it. We walked backwards while still kissing.

"What are you doing?" I whispered loudly.

"Shh!" Colin shushed.

"Are you drunk?"

"No."

At least I wasn't going to get charged with rape or something for having sex with someone who was drunk. I knew him well enough to know at this point that he was sober. I was more drunk than he was. We went back to what we were doing, but the shirts came off. Then we were both on the bed. He was the top, and he grinded against me. His length was rock hard, I could feel it. I haven't had a dick in so long. I never thought I'd get one again.
