Taylor's POV.
I had back surgery a week ago in Sydney, last night was meant to be my last show and Travis made sure that I was ok.
Today we are flying home to Nashville, my team wanted me in New York, but I need Nashville right now. Travis is pushing me in a wheelchair out, he has been so patient and supportive through this and is flying back to Nashville to look after me for 3 weeks before he goes back to KC, I'll probably go with him.
Travis's POV
I finally get her on the plane..... she's sleeping next to me and I am holding her hand. It's going to hard in Nashville as she is still in a little bit pain and can't really walk. But I have organised the best rehab team in the business, but it's in KC.... So she doesn't know that the plane is going to KC.
Taylor all of a sudden opens her eyes as the sun is shining on her face, she looks absolutely beautiful. "Hey baby" I say as I help her cuddle into me. She turns and looks at me in tears, this has been happening a lot. "What's up sweetie?"
Taylor's POV
FFS my emotions again, I'm just so grateful for him. "I just love you" I say. It's not just that just that I thinK to myself. "You have given up your whole life, all because of my stupid back, you only saw me half of my show" . He squeezes my hand three times and kisses me on my temple while wiping my tears with his thumb. "Hey I don't like seeing upset Tay, in this relationship we show up for each other, I show up for you and you show up for me, that means whatever happens we show up". He kisses me on the forehead and says "you my love mean the world and I wouldn't want to be anywhere else but here with right now". My body melts into his chest and my tears melt down and wet his shirt. He kisses my forehead and then I give him a soft kiss back. We then here that the plane is landing in KC, I look at him confused.. "SURPRISE BABY!" He yells and I laugh, "why are we here and not in Nashville" I say. "One word baby" He then kisses me "NFL" and then kisses me again. " preseason is starting early, Lucky us". He kisses my temple, "But I have the best in KC, to help you get back on your feet".
The plane lands and we get off, Travis holds me around my waist and helps me down the stairs, and we get into the black SUV and we drive to his house.
4 weeks of being in KC
For the next 4 weeks, I have physio, massages and some sort of excercise, that was either pool therapy, going for walks around the neighbourhood or Pilates or a low impact excercise in the gym, most of the time this was with Trav but occasionally, we would be joined by Pat and Britt or anyone else who was free after training.
This morning Trav got up first and got ready for training and then came up and helped me out of bed, which usually involved a massage and a few kissses along the way. It was getting easier for to get up, but I needed a little help. He then made sure I got down the stairs and we sat and ate our breakfast and had a morning coffee. He made pancakes for me today "Baby, these are so yummy" I say. "Only the best for you, sweetie". I take his hand and hold it. " so what do we both have on today?" " I have training till 10:30 am and then I am free for you baby". Pat and Britt have invited us to dinner at 5:30 pm if you feel up to it". " Dinner sounds amazing" I say. " did you need help with anything before I go?" " Can you help bring the washing over to fold". "darling, I've folded the washes as he kisses me passionately". I laugh, " well you are unbelievable and I don't know how I got so lucky" He helps me up and then goes to the kitchen and starts cleaning. " Babe, I can do that you need to go so you are not late". "It's done sweetie" he replies. "Alright then, I'm off, if you can let the dogs out that would be great sweetie, but are we swimming, working out or walking?" I have acupuncture in 10 mins, so probably swimming i say. Ok, love you"
I have my acupuncture and it hurts, but Trav just text:
Travis ❤️ : I'm nearly home bringing lunch
Taylor: Sounds good babe xxx
I set the table and put on my swimmers with a cover up.
Travis's POV
I walk in the house and notice my girl isn't sitting on the lounge. "Baby, I'm home". She comes down the stairs in her swimmers. "Hi honey" she says as she gives me an embrace. I kiss her back, "you look beautiful". I say. We both sit and eat our sandwiches and then hop in the pool. I do Taylor's exercises with her which involves walking up and down the pool and then floating on our backs and then on our stomachs and the pulling up on the ledge, when we do her program, we hop in the spa and chat, kiss and have a bit of a session of touching, kissing sensually. We then go upstairs and Taylor normally has a nap and I do too
Taylor's POV
I wake up to Trav's alarm and I can see that he is waking up too, we look at each other and he helps me get up. We both have a quick shower together and chuck on clothes. He kisses me as he gets some champagne to take. "Let's go sweetie" he says. He helps me in the car, this something that is also still a work in progress, we have to put the back and i normally cry a little as i am in so much pain. Travis spends a moment calming me down and says " we don't have to go". No lets go i affirm. Travis helps me out of the car, but distracts me from the pain by kissing me. "There's a hack for next tome he says as he places his hand on my lower back. He kisses me again and then knocks on the door..
Pat answers "Hey you two, come on in. He give Travis and I a hug. Britt comes out and says " TAY, HI" and give me the biggest hug and Trav a hug. Right come on in, would we like wine, beer, cocktails? "I'll have what you have Britt. Right, Margarita for Tay, Trav, I'll have what Patty boi is having. I go with Brit to help with the Margs. She asks me how I have been, I tell her about my back and how amazing Trav has been, she offers to come for a walk with me tomorrow. "So, are you going to the first game, cause I can help you out with sitting you down and going in the lift and what ever else you need?" " I would love that" I say. We then go back to Travis and Pat and their chef announces that dinner is ready. "Pat's coming for training session tomorrow baby". " well there is no need, I am going for a walk with her" say Britt. Travis looks at me and sees my frustration about this injury and people trying to make light of it "Listen, you will be better in no time, he whispers to me" We sat there and laughed all night and had a fair few drinks. When it was time to go, Trav did the kissing thing as he put me in the car, but the alcohol helped with the pain. We then got home and went straight to bed and I snuggled up in my man's arms as whispered "I love you" and kissed me.
