"I'll see you later." Y/n told Fred as she ran after Draco. "Draco, stop!"

"What are you doing kissing a Weasley?!" he asked in a loud whisper. Y/n made a face, and sighed. "Is he the reason you broke up with Benjamin, huh?"

"Look at what Benjamin does to me, Draco." said Y/n showing her little brother her wrist. Draco quickly looked back at her, still very angry. "Theres tons of reason why Benjamin and I broke up. . . he wasn't a good boyfriend and he definitely wouldn't have made a good husband. You told me to leave him to."

"I told you to break up with him, yeah, but not kiss a bloody Weasley." said Draco narrowing his eyebrows. "You know what this does to the family?!"

"Draco, no one knows!" said Y/n with a face.

"No one knows now but when everyone does find out, mum and dad aren't going to be happy!" said Draco.

"No one's going to find out, you won't tell anyone, will you?" asked Y/n.

"No." said Draco.

"Look, i'll tell you the truth. Fred and I have been together for a while now, okay? He's the sweetest guy i've ever met and he treats me very well. Benjamin doesn't even reach Fred's ankles from his wonderful that boy is. I know what my life is going to be like after Hogwarts, I know that I can't be with him but will you let me have this while i'm able to still make my own choices." said Y/n. Draco nodded, looking at his sister.

"Why didn't you tell me?" asked Draco.

"Because I know you're such an angry child." said Y/n with a small smile. "I knew you wouldn't like it. Adrian and Graham don't even know. . ."

"They don't?" asked Draco. Y/n shook her head, the two walking towards the Slytherin common room. "Why?"

"Scared to tell them." said Y/n.

"Im guessing Miles knows because i've seen him sneak around with that Hufflepuff girl who isn't pure blood." said Draco. Y/n smiled softly, turning to look at him.

"Yeah. . ." said Y/n.

"I'm glad you broke up with Benjamin." said Draco. He looked at her wrist again, making a face. "Weasley hit him?"

"Yeah." said Y/n with a chuckle.

"I saw him looking pretty bad with Snape. Good job on Weasley's part." said Draco low.

"Hm, well." said Y/n shrugging.

"You don't just fancy him. . . right? You love him." said Draco looking ahead of him. Y/n turned to look at her brother. "I kind of knew already, Y/n. Last year you two were attacking each other, this year you're best friends. You look at him funny, almost like your eyes shine. Plus, I seen the two of you sneak into a portrait. It's bloody disgusting."

"If you knew, why didn't you say anything?" asked Y/n.

"In denial." said Draco. Y/n chuckled, nodding her head. The two entered the Slytherin common room, Adrian, Miles and Graham were talking.

"I'll see you later, Draco." said Y/n. He nodded, making his way over towards his friends. Miles looked at her as she sat with the boys.

"What on earth got into Weasley?" asked Adrian.

"I told you, he was defending her." said Miles with a face. Adrian turned to Y/n who nodded, showing the boys her wrist. Adrian turned to Graham, sitting up.

"Well. . . we have to definitely thank him." said Adrian crossing his arms. "He went mad! Benjamin was actually leaking blood."

"Yeah." said Y/n crossing her arms.

"Kind of funny, huh." said Graham.

"Not funny." said Y/n.

"Not funny at all, he called Poppy a mudblood." said Miles who was furious. "Fred should've gone a little longer."

"Yikes." said Adrian.

"Benjamin's honestly an idiot. I cannot believe I wasted two years of my life with him." said Y/n rolling her eyes.

"Agreeable." said Graham. Y/n got up, gesturing Miles.

"I'm going to go check on Poppy, let's go?" asked Y/n. Miles quickly got up, nodding his head. "Do you two want to come?"

"Meeting Gemma in a bit." said Graham.

"I have homework to do." said Adrian. Y/n turned to Miles and rolled her eyes, the two started walking towards the Hufflepuff common room.

"I have something to tell you." said Y/n. Miles turned to look at her.

"What happened?" asked Miles.

"Fred and I are dating. . . we've been dating for a month now actually. Draco saw us kissing and he isn't as upset as I thought he was going to be." said Y/n quickly.

"Wait— Draco knows??" asked Miles. Y/n nodded. "Fred told me you two were dating, oh I don't know what's happening half the time. I'm too busy trying to study."

"Same." said Y/n sighing.

"And so then what happened with Draco?" asked Miles.

"He said he already kind of knew, said he saw us sneak into a tunnel." said Y/n shrugging.

"Well, that's good." said Miles. Y/n nodded, agreeing. The two entered the Hufflepuff common room, quickly making their way up the stairs and into Poppy's dorm. She was sitting on her bed, painting her nails.

"Oh Y/n! Are you okay?" asked Poppy. Y/n nodded, sitting next to her. "That boy is unbelievable!"

"I know," said Y/n. "Are you okay? I'm so sorry for what he called you!"

"Oh yeah, I don't care." said Poppy shrugging. "Never really cared for the word."

"I would've attacked him the way Fred did if I knew he called you that, love." said Miles crossing his arms. Poppy chuckled, kissing him.

"I knew you would, baby." laughed Poppy. Y/n smiled, looking at the two.

"How do you two do it in the summer?" asked Y/n.

"I sneak out at night." said Miles with a shrug. Y/n jaw dropped, looking at him.

"My parents know how the pureblood life is no fun so they don't mind!" said Poppy with a smile. She gasped, turning to Y/n. "We can all hang out at my house! You can say you're at Y/n's house and then the two of you can come over mine and we can invite Fred so you can see him!"

"You're onto something, Poppy." said Y/n raising her eyebrows. Miles chuckled, nodding his head.
