Getting ready for my first day in the corporate world was nerve wracking to say the least. Gio bought me all new clothes. I told I could pay for them myself but he insisted. He said that since I quit my job, and left my old life behind it was the least he could do to show his appreciation. What he doesn't seem to understand was that I didn't just do it for him. I wanted to. After everything that's happened, I wanted to get as far away as I could from that life, (my dad and sibling not included). My family would still be in my life.
After blowing out my hair and applying make up I start going through all the possible outfits I could wear today. I decide on a tan blouse with black speckled dots that I'll tuck into a high waisted cream colored pencil skirt with heels to match my skirt.

I make my way to the kitchen for some coffee and hear Gio talking to someone. Walking in I see Nico leaning against the wall drinking coffee.

Dress very casual for someone who's going into the office today. "Good morning boys!" I chirp. Walking over to Gio who's sitting at the island. He wraps and arm around me, his hand landing on my butt when he kisses my lips. "Good morning again baby girl." I pull away to give Nico a kiss on his cheek.
"Good morning Principessa" "No work for you today?" I say over my should as I make my way to the coffee maker. I look to him while I pour. "I am, but no meetings for me today so I figured I'd be comfortable for a day" he shrugs looking into his coffee mug, not bothering to look at me. I plan on talking to him alone at some point today about his attitude towards me. If we are going to work together and he's Gios best friend I want things to be good between us. I nod at his explanation and sip my coffee. "When are we gonna get going?" I ask directing it more towards Gio. "In a few minutes, just waiting on something to arrive." I raise a brow and am about to question him when his phone goes off, "right on time! Gets you bag and coat and let's go." I nod putting my mug in the sink and quickly put on my matching cream colored trench coat and grab my bag. The three of us walk out the building doors to Nico's phantom. "I didn't know you were taking us Nico?" He smiles and shakes his head. Confused I look to Gio who has a huge smile on his face.
