Jet's POV:

After his talk with Satan

I can't believe I extended her time, and the fact that i didn't realized that I did it. Is it true? Am I falling for a mortal?

"Wait? What? Me falling for Meg? He must be mistaken"

I walked towards my room and glanced at the only photo in my room.

It was a photo of my parents, my mortal parents...

It was given to me by my guardian when I first arrived here. Guardians are the ones teaching what you must learn before you become "Death". All of us, all the "Deaths" in the world are human before, we are the ones that wished to never exist.

They give us power, freedom, in fact everything that we ever wanted but there's one thing you will loose your MEMORY. Fortunately, they're giving us some souvenir from the past. And I got this burnt photo. You can't even recognize anyone from the photo.

I lay on my bed still thinking about what Satan said.

I stared at the photo and whispered.

"I can't be in love wth her right? I just feel pity that's why I extended her time and I forgot all about it, right? I couldn't love her. I'm Death, I don't fall for mere mortals"

Suddenly I saw Meg's face, staring at me intently. Her bright blue eyes that turns darker when she's mad or irritated and it just captivates me.

Her sweet smile

Her skin

...

...

...

What the f*** am I saying?

"I have to finish this. I have to tell her to come with me, she needs to die!"

She was with her father.

Something pinch inside my chest.

She was crying.

I can't help what I was feeling, It hurts seeing her cry.

I rushed my way over her, grabbed her hand and said my goodbye to Mike.

"Please, take care of her. For me." he smiled.

We continued walking and walking and walking....

Why is she crying? and what the hell is this feeling. I quickly brush the thought when she suddenly stopped.

"Meg, common let's go. The rain is coming"

"Where are we going?" Meg replied as another tear fell.

I have to bring her back, I have to think of nothing but bringing her back. I broke the rule, I need to stop this nonsense feeling.

She was just quiet as we walk towards the rain, I tap my foot and the ground opened.

"Is my time over?"

She is not in the mood. I nod and led her down, we were quiet and it's not the comfortavle one. When we arrived, I was told to bring Meg to Satan and I did.

I looked at her as she scan the place, she doesn't seem surprised to be in here. She's so calm.

"I've been here before." She whispered I almost couldn't hear her.

"What do you mean?"

"I've been here before, I'm sure"

"But how?"

As she was about to answer, we were already inside Satan's office.

"Hello there Meg" He looks at Meg and then turned towards me.

"Jet, meet my daughter."
