Mina's POV:
Slowly waking up, my eyes were stinging from crying last night. looking around the room I letting out a heavy sigh, before slowly getting out of bed, still in my clothes from yesterday. I went to the bathroom to changed and freshened up. Walking out feeling cleaner. I checked the time, and I still had hours before I needed to get ready. Sitting on the edge of my bed, I looked at my phone, and the girl's group chat was blowing up. Scrolling through the messages, they were talking about Bambam and what happened yesterday. I didn't respond to them but just kept reading until Tzuyu posted a video in the chat in which someone was filming what happened at the park. I could be myself on the ground before the camera turned to show Y/N riding by in the and hitting BamBam. Turning off my phone, I felt like crying again, but fighting the urge, I held the tears as best I could. Letting out another sigh, I got up and made my way downstairs. Walking down, I could smell and hear someone cooking, and it wasn't the housekeeper because it was too early. Stepping into the kitchen, I saw that my mother was the one cooking.
"Good morning," I said quietly. She looked over her shoulder and flashed me a smile. Walking over, she put her hands on my shoulder before pulling me in for a hug. Surprised, I didn't know what to do; it's been so long since she hugged me.
"I'm so sorry, honey. I'm so sorry about what happened yesterday. If there's anything you want, just let me know," she said. Hearing her talk like this surprised me. I thought she was faking it, but her tone sounded genuine. Feeling my eyes getting watery, I hugged her back, and we embraced before letting go. Looking around, I didn't see my father at his usual spot, drinking coffee.
"Where's father?"
"He had to leave early this morning for some business-related issues," she said while walking away, and I wasn't surprised; he still didn't care about what happened.
"Here, Mina, eat up." She placed a bowl of rice and soup on the table. Walking over and sitting down, I picked up the spoon and sipped the soup, feeling a bit nostalgic. It's been forever since I tasted my mother's cooking; she's always so busy helping my father that she rarely cooks herself.
"It's delicious," Looking at her, she seems glad to hear those words. "I missed your cooking." Her smile grew before she had to turn and walk away. I could hear her soft cry, and I remember that our family hadn't been close for years. While eating, the memory of being able to sit down and eat with my parents played in my head. Missing those days, I enjoyed every bite before getting and put the dishes in the sink, and thanking my mother for breakfast. I headed back to my room to get ready for school.

After a bit of time, I was almost done getting ready. I changed into an extra set of uniforms, but my eyes were still puffy from the crying. I put on a mask, hopefully, to hide the puffiness. I walked back down the stairs and found my mother in the living room, going through a book.
"What are you looking at, mom?" I asked as I walked over. She lifted the book, and it was our family photo album, and the picture she was looking at was my parents and me at my first ballet recital.
"It's been so long since I've looked at these, bringing back so many memories." She said, going back to looking at the photos, "We should take a new one soon." She suggested, and I nodded, agreeing that we should "and one with your boyfriend."
"Boyfriend?" I asked, and she looked at me with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes, the one you mentioned last night," she said, thinking I remembered during my vent that I mentioned that I loved someone. "When were you going to introduce him to us, Mina?"
"Oh um," I struggled to find my words, but luckily at that moment, we heard some honking from outside; it was Mr. Kim signaling that he was here.
'Perfect timing, Mr. Kim.'
