Chapter 10: Innocent

Mina's POV:

It's 7th period and I just finished my work for the class, while I'm just sitting there staring out the window with nothing waiting for the bell to ring got boring really quick.

'I need to do something or get out of this class, I'm so bored'

Getting up from my desk and walking up to the teacher's.

"Ah, Mina, how can I help you" the teacher asked with smile.

"I was wondering if I could leave early. I finished all my work and I have no missing assignment"

"Oh, of course. go ahead, let me write you a pass first." he said as he sighed an excuse slip "you have a nice day Mina." I bow and walk back to my seat to grab my bag before leaving the classroom.

'Well I'm out and I don't have anymore classes today, where should I go?' I started walking and I don't know where I'm going, my legs just started moving. I walked out of the school and off school ground but the next thing I knew I was standing in front of Mrs. Hwang store.

"Why did I come here?" As I wonder but then I saw Y/N through the window but I don't think he saw me

'I might as well say hi I guess' I walk into the store and saw Y/N sweeping by the register counter

'He didn't notice me again even with the bell ringing'

"Excuses me, Y/N?"

"Yes?" He turn around and I nearly started laughing cause of his confused expression and he still has tissue stuffed up his nose "Oh hello Mina, welcome to the store." he greeted me with a exhausted voice

"You came by yourself, where's are the others?"

"I left early today and I decide to come here." I respond, he nodded weakly and returned to sweeping

'Is he okay?'

I walk up to Y/N and stood in front of him looking at his face, his tissue was blood soaked and had dried blood underneath his nose and cheeks plus he doesn't have his usual happy energy but a exhausted expression with droopy eyes.

"Hey, are you okay?" I asked and he weakly nodded agian. I took my bag off and put it down while grab a chair from a table.

"Mina, what are you doing? I got things to do" he said and attempted to get up and I force him to sit down.

"No. you hit yourself too hard earlier, you need to rest for a bit" I told him but he kept squirming like a little kid trying to get back up.

"Can you sit here while I go get something to clean your face" I asked and he nodded, I left him and went into the kitchen to find a clean towel and after a minute I found some on a shelf, I put the towel under some water and squeezed out the excess water. I head back up to the front and found Y/N sweeping again... but in the chair?

'What is this boy doing?'

"Y/N!" I called him and he quickly turned around

"I'm still sitting like you said" I walk over to him and grab the broom away and place it in the corner

"You need to rest Y/N, you might have a concussion from how hard you hit yourself" I said while wiping the dried up blood from his face

"Why are you being so nice to me Mina? I thought you hated me the day you met me." he asked and I paused for a second

"I'm not being nice to you, you just seem like you need some help so I'm helping you out" I responded and he started giggle.

"What so funny?"

"Nothing." I rolled my eyes and continue to clean him up, I pull out the bloody tissues from his nose and cleaned up the blood around his nostrils. I walk back into the kitchen to throw what the tissues and to clean the towel and my hands when I walk to the front I found Y/N laying his head on the table. When I got closer to him I could hear a quiet snoring.

'he's already asleep...'

I stood next to him and kneel down to his level

'He looks so innocent while he sleeping'

Suddenly I felt a pull it wasn't physical but my head slow started getting closer to Y/N's but I managed to stop myself before we got any closer. We were only an inch or two away from each other lips.

"Mina..." he suddenly said my name and a smile form on his face

'Could he... Is he dreaming of me?'

My heartbeat started increasing, my face started warm up. I look back down at Y/N and he was still smiling but it slowly faded after a few second

I took off my jacket and folded in a square and gently and carefully placed it underneath Y/N's head, I patted him on the head and he smile again this time it showed his dimple.

'Cute.... wait. What? Aish... nevermind'

I stood back up and scan around the store

'Welp while he's asleep I might as well help him out with his work'

I walk around the counter and found one of the apron and put it on then walk over and picked up the broom I placed in corner and started sweeping the floors and did other things I think Y/N needs to do, wipe the window and tables, put down the chairs, clean the pot and pans in the sinks and putting them away.

'There's not alot of things to do but to get it perfectly clean it's tiring'

As I was finishing up I heard the front door open up, I walk to front and it was Mrs. Hwang and she had a confused expression but then she noticed me.

"Oh hello there" she said hi to me and I said hi back "is Y/N okay?" she asked I explained everything and after she nodded.

"I'm guessing you've been doing his prep work." she ask and I nodded

"Well I thanks you very much, I will give your payment before you leave" she said and I declined

"There's no need, I was just help Y/N out" I said but she kept on insisting but I kept declining. We kept going back and forth for a few minutes but then we heard some rustling, I turn around it was just Y/N moved around.

"I forgot to ask, what's your name?" Mrs. Hwang asked

"Mina," I responded

"So Mina, are you Y/N's girlfriend?"

'. . . . . . . . . . . . .'

"Ummm..."

"Well if you are or not, take care of him for me, he's a good boy that's been through a lot" she requested and I agreed "you can rest now, I'll take care of the rest" and she left to go into the kitchen and I just stood there

'Are you Y/N's girlfriend?....'

My face began to warm up again because of the question but for some reason I kinda liked the thought of it. 

I walk over to the table Y/N's sleep at and pull out the chair sitting in front of Y/N, I could see all of the little features on his face and his puffy hair covering his eyes. I lay my head down on the table but I kept staring are Y/N, I reached my hand out and moved his hair aside revealing his eyes. 

'I never noticed how handsome he is. . .' 

My eyelids started feeling heavy and I kept trying to stay awake but eventually I fell asleep without knowing it, the last things I remembered was a soft, warm, comforting feeling wrap around my hand.

'This is a nice feeling'
