Charlie woke up. She got out of bed. Her mind was racing thinking about how high school will be like for her, Emma and Eva. "I wonder what awaits for us? Will Emma meet her high school sweetheart? What will happen with Eva? If any boy messes with her, I will do anything to not see her be sad over a boy! Maybe I might confess my feelings for her or I might try my luck with a boy or girl. Okay, I just gotta look forward to it all!" Charlie thought as she got ready for school.

"Good morning, beautiful!," Lucifer said and then asked as he handed her breakfast. "Are you ready for school?," "Dad, I feel that I am," Charlie said. "But what is this?" "Charlie, I decided to serve you up a fruit salad." Lilith said. "You are going to be high school and you need to look your best!," "Mom, I am fine the way I am." Charlie said. "I guess that I will take the yogurt and some fruit. I am not eating all of it." Charlie finished off her breakfast and saw Emma walking up to her house. "Hey Char!," Emma said then she felt Charlie's energy. "What happened?" "Emma do you think I am fat?," Charlie said. "Of course you are not, you are perfect the way you are!," Emma said and then asked, "Why? Did someone make you feel less? If it is your mind, don't give in!" "It was my own mom," Charlie said. " I don't know why she would do that." Charlie cried but Emma gave her a hug. "We are going to stop at Eva's house so that she walk with us to school," Emma said. "I want to hide this from her. I don't want her to notice that," Charlie said. Eva saw Charlie and Emma. She gave them each a hug. Charlie felt a sense of comfort as Eva hugged her. "I hope that high school treats us good," Eva said. "I also hope for the same!," Charlie said. "Are you guys ready?" Charlie asked as the girls got to Hell High School (Hell School). "We are!," Emma and Eva said. The 3 girls made it inside the school and made their way into their first class of the day.

Break time came around and Charlie met up with her friends. "There are so many cute guys!," Emma said. "Maybe I can try my luck." They sat down in a table. "Charlie, I notice that a guy looked your way," Emma said. "Emma, don't say that!," Charlie said. "My bad Charlie, you can't stop them if they do." Emma said. "Well she does have a point," Eva said. "Give it a chance Charlie." Just then the bell rang and the girls headed off to their classes.

Lunch time came around and Charlie was eating with her friends. Charlie felt the pressures of high school. Most upperclassmen were dating, trying to fit in or be a part of a clique or friends trying to be on the dating scene and most girls worrying more about their appearance. She kept thinking about Eva and she hopes no one will pick on her. "I will do anything to make it easier for her." Charlie thought as she zoned off. "Charlie, are you going to finish your sandwich?" Eva said. "Shit, sorry girls. Of course I am! Finish up yours too." Charlie said as she took a bite from the sandwich. Just then Charlie felt sick to her stomach. She went to the bathroom to throw up.
Minutes past by and the bell rang once again to start off classes but Emma and Eva were worried. "Hey, are you okay?," Emma said. "Maybe it was something that just disagreed with me. I feel better." Charlie lied as her mind kept racing about her mom being critical about her appearance. "Char, I am glad but you both keep me updated. I don't want to leave without knowing." Eva said as she took off to class. "Char, I know that you had in mind to make yourself sick. Please don't listen to the negative shit that your cold ass mom says. If you need any place where you can feel safe and be completely yourself, I will let my parents know. I am sure that they will let you crash with me anytime. Come to class with me and we will ask our teacher to talk to us outside of the class and explain why we were both late." Emma said emotionally. " I worry for you my sister!" Charlie then opened the stall door and hugged Emma. She washed her face in the bathroom sink and both girls made it into class as Emma try to lighten up the mood with jokes for Charlie. "There you go, laugh and smile girl!" Emma said.

The end of the school day came and Charlie met up with her friends to walk home. Eva then hugged Charlie. Charlie felt butterflies in her stomach but of joy. "Are you okay?," Eva asked. "Yes, I am. With Emma staying behind helped me a lot. I don't know what I do without you both." Charlie said. " I understand if you needed to go to class at that time. High school is tough. But together we can go through anything!" After they walked Eva home, Emma asked, "Do you need me to hang out with you until sunset? I will let my parents know." "I think that I will be good from here," Charlie said. "Send me a text if not, I can pick you up and we can talk on the phone with Eva at my place." Emma said.
