Kei's pov.

You know that feeling that you feel like regretting it, but it actually looks cool when you do it? I thought about it in the moment. Aki hasn't even twitch, while the girl found the one behind the 'accident'. Gazing at me with curiosity and... something else. I took a big gulp once I started to walk over to them. The colleagues was also as shocked as their leader.

"Stop... what you're doing." I said shakily, also raspily. That made the tension lighter, I hope.

Aki gained his pride once again following the colleagues, smirking. I've already done it, there's no backing up now. "Oh of it isn't Kei chan, what's your business here?" He teased, always using that honorific just for me.

I don't mind it, at least in this moment. All it matters is her safety. That said, my recent anger rose up again, but I'm trying to calm down and think. "Look, all I needed is her. So if you excuse me..." I Gently took her arm. Surprisingly, it wasn't as soft  as I would expect. Nevertheless, she showed the first emotion I saw since I first met. Shock.

It was unmistakable. With her eyes wide and lips a little bit gaping. Was it that bad?

And so, I started walk away with her following. They didn't mind, but they were laughing their butts off. Bastards. Before I could get away from the room, Aki laughed off, "You've made a mistake Yukimura!"

I didn't know what that meant, but I shook it off and left completely with her. I stopped mid way in the middle of the corridor, turned my eyes behind me. After the shock from her was gone, wasn't the angelic little face thanking me in my thoughts. Rather, it was a same amused smirk I got used to from Aki. But it wasn't Aki. And it was more in time dating then him. She comb back her bangs using her fingers, revealing more of her eyes. "Whats your name, boy?"

"K-kei. Yukimura Kei" I stuttered out because she said it with a voice much MUCH(Tamura Yuki seiyuu) for her age without notice. "Is that right... well then Yukimura, I won't forget this name." She declared, almost stifling with laughter with the meaning of "kei". I just nodded idiotically.

"Until we meet again." She said, walking past by me. It was like a spell, once she dissapeared, the frozen spell removed. Making my knees buckle and fall, and my hands touching the ground.

"What... was that all about?" I wondered of the impact of what happened until now. This place is getting weirder and weirder.

Days passed by earlier than I expected since that incident. And I didn't see her around nor my colleagues. So it's back to training, no more distractions, no more troubles. Hopefully. But then just one day changed my life forever. As cliché as that sounds.

"This is the last time Yukimura." My other senpai said, as she dug her hand inside her pocket, reaching her phone. They were patient with me for the first few weeks, which I was grateful for. But a time will come where they give up on me, they always do.

"But still... are you sure?... Yeah, I know that the time has come... okay." She said after she contacted someone on her phone. Then she looked at me in the eye. It was hard for me to look at her so I looked away.

I heard a sigh and she continued anyways and said, "You'll be in care of the mistress of the division. Of course you'll have to leave your quarters and move in to another building" Huh? Whoever that is, she may seem really in a high position obviously. And I think somewhat strict and cold.

Even if I don't want to, I should follow their orders or they'll kick me out. I don't want that. Because if they do, I literally have nothing to go to. And so, I nodded. Senpai gave me at least an hour to pack up and say good bye to people. Yeah... one hour doesn't cut it when it comes to Yanagi. If we already act like husband and wife when we're hours apart, then imagine what he'll do if we can't meet for days.

"NOOO! DON'T GO BUDDY! WE HAVEN'T EVEN PLAYED THAT ECCHI GAME YOU WAN-- MMPH?!" A pillow kissed him, I made it to do so anyways. I sighed. "First of all, we can still meet each other during weekends. And second, Sword art online play through isn't ecchi." I clarified, clearing out his dirty mind about harems and exposed skin.  He just said, "Impossible" in between his laughs. I just put out a face.

"On serious note, are you sure you could survive there?" He said, as he grabbed the pillow he just kissed seconds ago.

I nodded. "Well… it's not like I have a choice you know."

"EVEN so! Life is short bro! I wanted to spend my time with you. Think about it." He said, lazily hanging his arm around my shoulders. "You, me, and hot chi--" I shoved him lightly. "Knock it off!" I laughed, he laughed even more. "You'll see." He exclaimed with confidence.

After the hour passed, joking and remembering the past times we had with cans of beer, I was picked up by the shikigami that first took me to this place. How nostalgic.

We went off while Yanagi was waving a handkerchief at me hearing him shouting, "May the odds be in your favour!" While his other arm was carrying the pillow I left behind. I just did what procedure from the hunger games showed us, the difference was I did it mockingly. Get it? Cause mocking Jay and... okay I'll shut up now. Then I sitted back without looking at his response.

I took a short nap until she(yes the shikigami has a gender) told me, "we've arrived." I was struggling to fix my crumpled and creased clothes, wiping off the sweat I had hurriedly. Good thing she didn't mind at all, or maybe she's just good at hiding it.

I carried my only bag I had with me since day one and got off the same limousine I got in. I covered my eyes from the heat and look at the place I'll be staying at.

Before I could notice, she already left without me. I ran after her, then tripped when she stopped walking. "??" Was her expression. "Gah..." I stood up, patting off the dirt on my pants and look what's in front of me.

The building was huge enough that I jaw dropped. I wasn't even used to the other building, so how am I going to be used to this everyday?

This is another good day for another road to hell.

Part two on the next chapter.
