One bet, One love

Chapter 1

  - Eleanor, it's time to wake up! It's your first day of your new school! my mom yelled.
  I slowly started to wake up from a great dream. I was kind of nervous for my first day at a new school. I didn't even know anyone and I know how hard it is to make new friends, since most of them already know eachother.
  I got out of bed and went in the bathroom to brush my teeth. When I looked in the mirror, I saw that my hair was a DISASTER. Like literally.

  *After she brushes her teeth, brushes hair and change her clothes. She went down to have breakfast*

  - Morning, mom!
  - Good morning, sweetie! How did you sleep? Are you ready to make a new start? my mom asked me.
  I went to the counters and took a bowl and cereals. Then, I went to the frigde to take the milk for the cereals.
  - I slept alright. And I'm kind of nervous for this new school... What if the kids there don't like me? I said in a sad tone.
  I started eating my cereal, lost in thoughts.
  ~What if, I won't be able to make friends?~ i asked myself, even tho i knew i couldn't answer it.
  - Don't worry, my dear. At first, it might be hard, but you'll have to be patient. You'll wait and the kids there will have time to know you, my mom said and smiled. But for now, just enjoy your breakfast. You'll have to go to school in like 25 minutes.
  I was finishing eating. I went to wash the bowl, and then left to my room. Mom was right. Maybe i should just be pozitive.

  *After 24 minutes, Eleanor started to get ready to leave. She and her mom said their bye and Eleanor left for school. The whole time she kept thinking. In the end, she arrived at school*

  ~Ok, Eleanor. Calm down. It's ok. Be pozitive. Be pozitive.~i told myself.
I entered the school hallways and, oh wow, was this a fancy school. All the boys and girls were talking to their friends about their summer.
  I felt like a total idiot out of place there. As i started to walk my way through, i noticed how the students were pointing into my way:
  - Look at that girl. She must be new. I haven't seen her before, a girl-student told her friend.
  - Yeah. But like, she looks kinda cool, her friend responded.
  - Look! Somebody new!
  - She's soo pretty...
  - She looks cool
  I heard some of the students talking about me, in a good way. It was better than i expected. People here seemed nice. ~Maybe it won't be so hard to make friends~ i told myself, my mouth forming a smile.
  I tried to find my class, when suddenly, i ran into somebody.
  - Oww! I said
  - Hey! Watch where you're going! a cold voice responded.
  ~What in the world?~i said in mind
  - Im so sorry! I didn't mean to! I apologised.
  - Ugh. Did you intentionally ran into me? Wait a sec, you're new here, aren't you? he asked me.
  I felt kinda embarrassed. I didn't respond. That was some awkward silence.
  - So you're blind and rude. Fine then, new kid. Two can play at this game. He grinned and pushed his shoulder against me.
  ~Great! Just great!~

  *After she finds her class and the bell rings*

  - Class! We have a new student! Introduce yourself, the teacher said pointing at me.
  - Um, hi! I'm Eleanor! Nice to meet you all! i said with a smile.
  But then, i froze. In a back bench, a student waved at me with a grin. It was the boy from earlier.
  ~Ughhh. Why is he here?~
  - Eleanor, go to the empty seat near Ashley, that girl over there, the teacher pointed at a girl who waved at me with a warm smile.
  I went to my seat and we started talking. But I could still feel the eyes of someone behind me...
