Chapter 9

  After that day, i went to school, wondering if James actually like me.
  It was a day like other usual days: lessons, homework, tiredness.
  But as soon as the last lesson started, i got a message. It was from...James?
  Let's meet at the back of the school, when this lesson ends.
  I responded with:
  Sure!
  I turned and looked at him. He smiled, and i smiled back.

  *After the lesson ends*

  - Ughhh! I didn't understand anything!   This subject is soo hard!
  It was Ashley, complaining to me.
  - Yeah.
  - Anyways, you haven't told me about uhmmm... you know what. Did you get any update? she asked me.
  Just then, i remembered about what Ashley asked me. I didn't know what to do. If i told her, it might be a false information. If i didn't, i would break the girl-code, since i already told James about it, and not Ashley. Ughh. Dang it!
  - Uhmm... not really. I tried asking, but the answer wasn't really clear. I'm sorry...
  Technically, my answer wasn't 100% a lie. James did told me that Blake talked to him about Ashley, but that doesn't mean that Blake really likes her.
  - Oh... its alright! Don't worry! Ashley told me.
  - I think it's better if you find out if Blake likes you or not. Anyways, i have to go now. I told someone that I'm going to meet them after this lesson. See you on Monday!
  - Alright! See ya! she said and left.
  I went to the back of the school to see what James wanted to tell me.
  When i arrived, he saw me and waved.
  - Hey! was the first thing he said.
  - Hi! I responded back.
  - Soo uhmm... i told you to come here, because i have to ask you something important...
  I could feel my cheeks turn pink.
  - I'm all ears! I told him.
  - The question is uhmm.... Would you...go on a date with me? he asked me.
  I wanted to scream and jump with joy, while saying yes. But i kept my calm.
  - Wait, really? Of course! I would love to! I accepted, couldn't help myself from smiling.
  - Great! I was thinking... what about next Saturday? he asked.
  - Sure! I don't have any plans for the weekend! I secured him.
  - Nice! What about 17:00 (5 pm)?
  - Yeah! Sure!
  - Great! I'll pick you up then.
  - Alright!
  We smiled to eachother and we both went home.
  When i reached my house, mom greeted me:
  - Hello, hun! How was school? she asked.
  - Great! And im kinda hungry. Is there something to eat?
  - Yes. I just finished cooking. Anyways. Now, you should go change, and then, we will eat.

  *On Wednesday, after school*

  - OMG! I still can't believe he asked you out!
  Ashley squealed with excitement.
  - Me too! I'm glad that at least this time, you didn't complain about him.
  - Well, what was in the past, is in the past. Besides, i think he's changed. He's much nicer than before you came to this school. Anyways. You asked me if i can help you choose a cute dress.
  - Uhh yeah. But like, i thought it's funny how you changed your opinion on him. Lol.
  - Yeah, yeah. Whatever. Anyway, let's choose a dress for you. Let's make James fall in love with you.

  *On Saturday, at 16:37 (4:37 pm)*

  I was so excited for that date! Was James finally gonna confess his feeling? I hoped yes.
  I felt like i was shaking from all the excitement.

  *At 16:56 (4:56 pm)*

  The doorbell rang, and i knew it was James. I went down with my dress and hair done. I felt ready.
  When i opened the door, i saw James, looking so cute in his outfit. He really looked like a gentleman.
  - Wow. Hey.
  His voice melted me.
  - Hi.
  - Are you ready for our date?
  - Yeah.
  - Then, let's go.

  *After they arrived at a fancy looking restaurant*

  Wow! The perfect place for a first date!
  When we got into the restaurant, James told a waitress about our reservation and showed us where our table was.
  James chose a table that had a nice view.
  He pulled the chair to help me sit. What a gentleman!
  He sat on the other chair, and we started talking.
  - Wow. This place is... amazing! I got fascinated.
  - I kinda new you would like it, he said looking into my eyes, and smiled.
  The waitress then came to ask for our order.
  - I'd like a Chaesar salad, please, i ordered.
  - One plate of spaghetti with tomato sauce, James said to the waitress.
  - Alright!
  Our food came quite fast, and it was delicious! We also ordered two glasses of orange juice.
  After we ate, we split the bill, and James told me he made another surprise for me.
  We got in the car, and James drove to a green place. When we got out of the car, i was admiring the place, when James dragged me on the grass.
  Then, i saw the most beautiful view: the city at night. It looked straight out of a fairytale!
  - Wow! This is beautiful! I said.
  James turned to me.
  - Look, Ellie. I know we only know eachother for like almost 2 months, but you're so special to me, he said.
  I felt like i was blushing. He was so sweet!
  - You're special to me too! I told him.
  Then, he got closer.
  - I wanted to say that... i genuinely like you...You're so nice, and you are also selfless. You actually listen to my ideas, and i just can't get you off my mind, because... i really like you, he confessed.
  ~OMGGG! Ahhhh! I can't belive it! He actually likes me!~ i said excited to myself.
  - If i want to be honest, i also like you. You light up my world. You're different than others.
  And then, we kissed! And it was magical! It was indescribable.
  Was this how being in love felt like? Because i wanted to feel like this forever...
