In the quiet corners of Hogwarts, where the shadows and echoes held secrets, Mattheo Riddle first laid eyes on Y/N. It was a day etched in the pages of his memory, forever marked by the enchantment she cast upon him.

It all began during a chance encounter in the Hogwarts library. Mattheo, a new student with an air of mystery surrounding him, sought solace among the shelves of ancient books. The air was laden with the scent of old parchment, and the atmosphere hummed with magical energy.

Y/N was there, immersed in a book about magical creatures, her curiosity evident in the way her eyes danced across the pages. Mattheo, drawn to her presence, felt a strange pull that defied explanation. It was as if fate itself had orchestrated their meeting.

"Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice your interest in magical creatures. Fascinating, aren't they?" He said resting his body against the bookshelves.

"Oh, yes. They have this allure, a world of their own hidden from plain sight. Do you share the same fascination?" She answered.

"Absolutely. There's something extraordinary about the creatures that dwell in the magical realm. I'm Mattheo, by the way, a newcomer to Hogwarts."

"Hi Mattheo." A smile lit her face, Mattheo knew from that moment on that that smile would be the end of him.

From that moment, the spark of their connection ignited, like the first flicker of a magical flame. Mattheo and Y/N engaged in conversations that transcended the pages of textbooks, exploring the wonders of the magical world and, unknowingly, discovering the magic that existed between them.

As days turned into weeks, Mattheo found himself drawn to Y/N's laughter, the way her eyes sparkled with curiosity, and the depth of her thoughts. There was an authenticity about her that resonated with Mattheo's own longing for connection.

One afternoon, beneath the ancient oak tree in the courtyard, their shared laughter mingled with the rustle of leaves. The sun cast a warm glow, turning the moment into a tableau of enchantment.

"Y/N, there's something about you that's unlike anyone I've ever met. It's as if you carry a piece of magic within you."

"Maybe we're all a bit magical in our own way. You're different too, Mattheo. Mysterious, but in a way that intrigues rather than frightens."

In those stolen moments, Mattheo discovered a profound connection that transcended the ordinary. Y/N became a muse, inspiring the verses of a love story he had never known he could write.

Underneath the facade of the composed and elegant newcomer, Mattheo wrestled with emotions that felt both exhilarating and unfamiliar. Love had found its way into the chambers of his heart, and Y/N was the keeper of the key.

Their journey continued, a clandestine dance beneath the moonlit skies, secret glances exchanged in the hallways, and stolen moments in the library where their whispered conversations echoed the unspoken truths of their hearts.

"Y/N, I never expected to find such magic within the walls of Hogwarts. You've become a spell I never want to break."

The realization that love had woven its threads around him was both a revelation and a vulnerability. Mattheo, entangled in the enchantment of Y/N, found himself navigating uncharted territories of emotions he had never thought possible.

As the pages of their story turned, leaving Mattheo to grapple with the realization that he was hopelessly, irrevocably in love with the witch who had become the magical melody of his heart.

Times however changed quickly.

In the tumultuous times that gripped the wizarding world, Mattheo Riddle and Y/N found solace in each other's arms. Their love, a flame that defied the shadows cast by the looming war against Voldemort, burned with an intensity that only deepened as danger drew near.

Mattheo, with his enigmatic charm, and Y/N, with her unwavering strength, became the epitome of a love story woven against the backdrop of impending darkness. The war waged on, and Hogwarts transformed into a battleground where every victory was tempered by the sting of loss.

As Head Boy and Head Girl, Mattheo and Y/N led with grace and determination, their love an anchor amidst the chaos. Yet, fate is an unpredictable force, and the war's cruelty spared none.

The climactic battle unfolded on the grounds of Hogwarts, an echoing symphony of spells and screams that reverberated through the castle's stone walls. Mattheo fought valiantly, a whirlwind of curses and incantations, his mind fixated on the promise he made to protect Y/N.

In the midst of the chaos, Mattheo and Y/N found each other, a brief respite amid the relentless storm. Their eyes spoke volumes, words unnecessary in the face of a love that transcended the mortal realm.

"We'll make it through this. Together. I promise."

"I believe in us, Mattheo. No matter what happens, our love will endure."

But the war, indifferent to their vows, claimed its casualties. The battlefield became a canvas painted with the sacrifices of the brave, and in a cruel twist of fate, Y/N became one such sacrifice.

Mattheo's world crumbled as he witnessed Y/N fall, a scream escaping his lips that echoed the agony of a shattered heart. The battlefield became a blur, the chaos irrelevant in the face of his profound loss.

He cradled Y/N's lifeless form, the world around them fading into insignificance. The air was thick with grief as Mattheo clung to the remnants of their shared dreams, the echoes of laughter and whispered promises now silenced.

"No, Y/N. Please, come back. I can't do this without you."

But there was no magic, no incantation that could resurrect what was lost. The war claimed not only the lives of countless wizards and witches but also the love that had blossomed amidst the chaos.

As Mattheo wept on the blood-stained grounds, the world around him continued its relentless march forward. The war, though won, left scars that time could never fully heal. Mattheo, once fueled by ambition and love, now carried a heart eternally scarred by the absence of Y/N.

In the aftermath, as Hogwarts began to rebuild and the wizarding world sought to find its footing once more, Mattheo walked through the corridors with a heavy heart. The echoes of their love lingered in every corner, a haunting reminder of a future stolen.

Mattheo Riddle, the survivor of a war that claimed not only the lives of many but also the love he held dearest, became a living testament to the bittersweet reality that sometimes, even the most powerful magic cannot mend a shattered heart.

He walked the once roaming Hogwarts hallways, his music on so he could block out the thoughts in his head. The thoughts that wouldn't stop spinning. When he heard the familiair words.

Im over the bridge...
A minute from home, but i feel so far from it..

He thought, she, Y/N. She was his home, his everything. Now she... and he doesn't feel like the same person he just to were. With her everything was different it was like the world was in colors and now everything is black and white. He tried not to feel miserable she wouldn't have wanted that for him, but he just cant help it.

The things that i lost here, the people I knew...

Those words will always mean something to him. He will never forget her, but yet it feels like all their memories together are already fading away. Their laughs, their ups and their downs. The way she looked at him, he couldn't think clear anymore, tears were forming in his eyes.
He closes his eyes, thinking about her, about their time together. About their life, how it could have been if she...

And everything's still.
