Chapter 26

Seulgi's Pov.

After class I was now walking home since Joohyun unnie still had some works and had already ask me to go home already and rest

I couldn't really say no when she looks like she'll murder me if I disagrees to her command

As I walked closer to my house I passed by the ice cream shop, Wendy and I  usually hang out

It's been a while since we visited this place but then again this passed few days we hardly talk to each other. It's either she's busy hanging out with that Jungkook guy or I'm busy helping Joohyun with her duty

I sighed as I contemplated of walking inside

Should I?

I haven't been here without her eer before so it was not only new to me but also to the shop owner as I walk inside

"Seulgi? You alone? Where's Wendy?" The shop owner asked surprised at the sight

"Well she's a bit busy this passed few days s I came alone today" I smiled and walk towards the counter

"I see"

Seulgi look at the ice cream she usually get chocolate since it was hr favorite while Wendy would usually get cookies n cream

"Cookies n cream please" I muttered to the shop owner, she was a bit surprised but then didn't say much and proceed to get a cone

While waiting I noticed two students who looked a bit younger than us, maybe freshmen? Sitting at the corner laughing

We used to be that close but things hardly stays the same do they? She sighed she remembered the first time they came here

Wendy had drag me to this newly open ice cream shop

She had been wanting to visit it since the moment we saw it in the morning when we passed by but since we had class I couldn't really agree to her pleading

So when the class finally ended sh quickly grabbed her bag and dragged me out of the school

Who would've she's that crazy with ice cream

Once we were inside the interior was pretty it had a cute design of pink black with a matching slight mint green it even had this decoration of a huge strawberry ice cream cone by the counter

"Wow this place looks amazing" Wendy lit up as she walk towards the line

I followed her in the line

"What flavor do you want?" I casually ask

"I really love cookies n cream, what about you?" She said so happily

"I'm not really a fan but I would like a classic chocolate flavor" I shrugged that caused a shock expression on her face

"You don't like ice cream?" She asked

"Not really hamster"

She look at me with determination "then I'll make sure you'll love this" sh smile as we wait for our line

Once we were Infront "I'll get cookies n creame and this bear here will get chocolate" she said with a smile

The shop owner just smile and gave us our ice cream

"Here you go enjoy you too"

She dragged to the corner of the ice cream shop that was the only available seat

"We could literally go home while eating" I said confused why we had to eat here

"In order for you to love it you should definitely savor the moment of eating that way you'll definitely won't forget the feeling"

And indeed she was right I wasn't able to forget the feeling even after all this time I still love it

My thoughts were interupted when the shop owner gave me my ice cream

"Whatever is going on between you and Wendy, I hope you guys talk about it and eat ice cream again after all you guys are my number one customers" the owner said with a smile

"Thank you but don't worry really were alright" I assured her but it felt like I was more assuring myself than her

After that I left the place and continued to walk maybe going there  was a bad idea

Did something going between us?

I don't think so

Maybe we've been to busy with our own lives that we just weren't talking much

But since when?

Wendy had been the only thing running through my mind ever since we met so were did it all go wrong

Why weren't we the same as before?

She had met so many guys in our lives but didn't stop her from staying by my side

But now everything was different

How?

Did I really lose her now?

Am I ready to let her go?

So this might have been the shortest chapter I made but I really wanted to update this for you guys

Since I'm still really not sure when I'll update again with all the requirements my teachers are giving me but I promise I'll try...
