Chapter 24

Seulgi Pov.

The next day was a very busy and stressful but at the same time fun day since it will be the start of our intramurals so no regular classes

Joy won the Ms. Intramurals which was really great, today was the opening of our intramurals

Everyone from the different will be competing to whom has the best performance out of all of us

I was now with my classmates as we watch the program start and everyone started to cheer for the MC

Wendy was with Jungkook as always

I was with the rest of gang except for Joy since she was the Ms. Intramurals she was at the stage to light up the torch as a sign of the opening kf of intramurals along with the Mr. Intramurals

"and light it up!" the MC yelled as the Mr. And Ms. Intramurals light up the torch and everyone of us cheered

"Ladies and Gentlemen our Intramurals is officially open!! Around of applause please for the Mr. And Ms. Intramurals!" the MC yelled making everyone cheer

As the program started I stayed behind and just watch from afar

The performance from the different levels started the first one to perform were from the freshmen

After a while it was our level who will be performing so I decided to go besides to let the performers have a way in to the stage

There I saw Jungkook and Wendy they were part of the performers

I watch them both dance together and even look at each other lovingly

I could only sigh in frustration

As he hold her hand and pull her close, I could only look away as I could feel my tears filling up my eyes

Irene saw me and she walk towards me with concern, she hold my wrist and drag me out of the crowd and to the exit

I could hear my friends calling my name but I couldn't really look behind as tears flowed down like waterfalls  

Once we were out Irene unnie let go of me and let me sat down at one of the benches near the school stadium entrance

She sat down next to me and pat my back as she let me cry until I had finally calm down

"let it all out, you don't have to worry I'm the only one here" she said calmly

"thank you unnie for being here with me" I said as I wipe off the last few tears left in my face

"It's okay you know I'll always be here for you" She smile

"we should go back since they might start looking for us" I stood up trying to compose myself

We have have been for quite a while I'm sure the others might be a bit worried

But Irene unnie stop me "hey no one will look for us everyone is too busy with the program that they wouldn't even realize that were not there" she explain as she hold my both hands

"but aren't you needed there, you are the president after all" I stated as I didn't want to be the reason why she will get in trouble

"nope my work is already done and plus if they need me the Vice president is there let him worry about any matter" Irene said casually

"but if you want to go back, I won't stop you" she added as she put her hands inside her pockets

"what about you?" I ask confused

"I'm a bit hungry so I might go to the cafeteria and eat, wanna come? It will be my treat" I look at her for a second and then nodded

It was free food after all so I didn't really had the heart to say no to that

She gave me a bigger smile and led me to the cafeteria

We went to the cafeteria

I started looking for all the food that was displayed in the cafeteria

"I want this one and this one ohhh can we get this one too?" I ask as I got too excited with all the food around after it was Irene's treat

Irene who was behind me couldn't help but laugh at me

I look at her happily begging like a kid for a candy

"Sure whatever you want" she said making me exclaim happily

Once we were settled for the food we wanted af course we started eating

"Unnie this whole week will be a busy week for you so if you need anything, you can always call me" I said as I stuffed every food we bought a while ago

"don't worry if I get hungry I'll call you" She laughed at my childishness she knew me too well

And I couldn't help but laugh with her

I was really happy at that moment I forgot what happened a while ago

How their faces were so close with one another or on how they stare at each other so lovingly

For a moment it felt like Irene was the only person I know

And I don't why I feel this way but the truth was I didn't really mind because whatever this feeling were It was really great

Author's Pov.

While the two was happily eating and started teasing each other they did not realize that a person was just standing at the entrance of the cafeteria watching them

She came to buy herself a drink after a tiring performance a while she needed to atleast breathe away from the stadium but it felt like the cafeteria was more suffocating than in the stadium

She didn't know why she felt this way is it because of what she is seeing or because she was just exhausted

She pretty sure it's the second one because there was no way she would feel jealous of Irene being too close with Seulgi

I mean who is she to feel this way after all she only a friend of Seulgi

Yes that's right Wendy your just exhausted that's the reason

She thought but she knew deep down she wasn't totally convinced with that reason yet she ignored it....
