𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐢 𝐁𝐥𝐮𝐞 𝐄𝐬𝐬𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞
After school, I Facetimed Taylor to ask about the game.
"You got your car right?" I said grabbing my car keys out of my purse. " Yeah, fresh out the shop" she smiled ear to ear. " Girl, bye I'll meet you there," I said strapping on my seat belt and starting the car.
"What am I getting myself into" I sighed, following my gps to the to the rival school. I connected my phone to the car's Bluetooth and played Love You Too Much by Lucy Daye.
I reached the parking lot of the other school and it was packed but I managed to find a hidden parking spot. I walked into the school following a small crowd until We reached the gym. I scanned the bleachers for Taylor, one of the players from our school bumped into me.
"My bad" he smirked.
"My eyes are up here," I said snapping, He looked at me crazy saying nothing
I ignored him took out my phone and made a phone call. "Where are you?" I shouted over the loud crowd.
"Maybe try looking up" Tay stated.
I looked up to see Tay waving her hands up on the bleachers, I walked up to her.
"Rani, What took you so long?" she motioned to the spot beside her.
"There was nowhere to park" I shook my head.
"Oh yeah, they don't play bout these games" she chucked, The game started and I self-concisely spaced out, I always spaced in large group settings with loud sounds.
"Ughh, My man is so fine, even though he ain't shit," Tay said cheesin."Tay I can't with you " I laughed, tapping my knee.
"Look, that's Kyree" she pointed to a guy wearing the Jersey 24, who happened to be the same guy that bumped into me earlier.
"Oh, him?" I questioned.
"You know him? " she raised her brow.
"He kinda bumped into me before I walked up here, but no" I answered.

After the game ended I was ready to go.
"Hey, Imma go home," I said picking up my purse.
"Hold on Damien and I are going out to eat real quick, wanna come?" She asked.
"I don't wanna intrude" I tilted my head.
"Rani, we going to Macdonalds...what the hell you gon intrude?" she stated, grabbing my hand as we stepped down the bleachers.
"When you put it that way..."I laughed walking through the exit doors.

I hung my coat onto the side of our booth and got into line to -order while Taylor and Damien were seated. The line moved up and I ordered a mocha frappe and paid, I walked back to see Kyree sitting at the far corner of the booth.
"This is my homegirl Serani, Serani this is Kyree" Tay stood up to introduce me, I waved awkwardly and he subtly smiled I sat next to him, and put my stuff on the table, Taylor smiled deviously and got up, while Damien followed.
