Yesterday I had a blast at prom! I did I lot of dancing. Lily and I were the life of the party and sang and danced till we were exaughtest. We even did a duet. Derrick tried to avoid been seen but I dragged him onto the dance floor! Lily and I demanded him to sing and After a lot of pestering he gave in and sang. Derrick and I even won the prom king and queen titles! Freya acaully congratulated us but jealousy and venom was dripping from her voice dispite her efforts to sound happy for us.

I had an argument with Freya's brother and it ended up in me slapping him hard. He surprisingly appologoised after that and we became freinds. He said that he he had to bully me or else, his sister would cry and then his mom would smack him black and blue. His name is Jacob and he's acaully a really nice guy.he cracked a lot of indecent jokes and made me die laughing. That might, when we were coming home from prom, derrick's parents messaged us that they had changed their minds and would not come home next month but instead, arrive the next day. So, today they arrived and before they came I was wondering where I was supposed to live now. Derrick settled the promblem immediately when they arrived.Here is what happened:

(Derrick's mom) Derrick, who is this girl?

(Derrick) dont you remember that I said that she was going to stay here while you guys were away.

(Derrick's Mom) okay, but now your freind has to leave, she has to go back home.

(Derrick) well, I don't think that would be a good idea, she dosent even have a room in her house, and her parents are...well I don't wanna use bad words.

Together, Derrick and I explained how my room had been turned into a nursery for the baby triplets and how my parents didn't care for me.

(Derrick's Mom) well, she can stay with us then! By the way, I've heard rumours that you've got a girlfriend, Derrick. Is it true?

(Derrick) *scratches his head* uh-umm...

(Derrick's Mom) tell me the truth..please.

(Derrick) uh..okay..yes it's true

(Derrick's Mom) what!? Why didn't you tell me this before!?

(Derrick) well...I didn't know how you would react to it.

(Derrick's Mom) ok. But don't you think you are a bit too young for all this?

(Derrick) I'm 10 years old mom! Do you still think I'm a toddler?

(Derrick's mom) no no! I was just asking. Can you tell me about her? Maybe you can even call her up and let me speak to her.

(Derrick) yeahs sure...she's right infront of you.

(Derrick's Mom) you mean this girl! Oh okay..hi!

(Me) uh..hello

(Derrick) what's your name dear

(Me) Alexia Rivera

(Derrick's Mom) can one of you tell me about what you used to do together when we were not here? Nothing violent I hope!

(Me) no! Definitely nothing violent.

(Derrick) we used to chat and do journal writing together. That's all

(Me) yeah, only normal stuff like cuddling, watching tv and gardening.

(Derrick) Lex! We forgot to tell her about the most important thing that happened! We talked to aunt Camilla

(Derrick's Mom) but she died long ago!

(Me) we talked to her ghost..I mean.

(Derrick) yeah! She comes out of the painting!

We tell her all about Camilla and the ghost treasure. We tell her about Freya, Julia, lily. We even tell her about my prom dress and how I made it.

(Derrick's Mom) and I think you two did kissing too?

(Derrick) you are too clever! Okay there is no use hiding it from you Mom! Yeah..we did.

(Derrick's Mom) I knew it! I knew it! Wait till I tell dad about all this! He will finally understand that Derrick is not a baby anymore!

(Derrick) I hope so!
