Shahveer Hammad Zaidi- The eldest son and Prince of Zaidi Khandan but had an unbridgeable distance of emotional attachment with his family. Next president of their presidential lineage but had always been uninterested in dirty politics, strongly disliked his family's obsession for power and money thus remained distant from them, fulfilled his dream and became a self-made businessman.

He was a man of principles and ethics. His respect for women and compassion, benevolence for the poor people was what made him much talked about accross the village. People Although feared Zaidi Khandan for being political leaders and the power they possessed but admired and respected Shahveer for his generosity, kindness and amiable nature. As long as he was there no one ever dared to do injustice to poor people or mistreated a woman.

But today they dared to target someone whom he promised to protect till his last breath.

Formidable anger was palpable in his blazing eyes as he glared at the man who playing with a shameless smirk on face, said "It's true. She likes me. We like each other. I want to marry her and that's why she herself invited me in her room an..and whatever happened was consensual..."

"Zubaan sambhal ke baat kar Waheed" He roared standing up from his place.

[Mind your words Waheed]

"Shahveer" His grandfather Mubarak Zaidi tried to intervene but one sharp glance from Shahveer, the old man sat back.

"You think you will tell us a cooked up story and we will believe it?! This girl won't even spit on you let alone liking you" He said through clenched teeth but the ugly smirk on Waheed's face widened.

"Alright then, ask this girl only whether I am telling the truth or lie."

Shahveer's eyes searched for her in the crowd and finally found her standing in a corner, eyes casted down, head hung low and a shawl rightly wrapped around her body as if shielding herself from the cruel world. She was timid and extremely introvert girl. He knew it she easily gets frightened and now when the disgraceful incident was wholly related to her, her character and dignity, moreover the entire village gathered together to watch the trial, she was trembling like a leaf in raging storm.

His wife Sarah, cousin Samaira and Mahira brought her infront. Shahveer tried to observe her expression but the girl never once looked up or around, her eyes were stuck on the ground.

"Is it true? Is it true what that basta... Waheed said?" He asked in a soft tone only to get silence in response.

"Tell the truth without any fear. Tell me, were you willing in what happened or did he force you?" He asked again trying to control himself as the slightest possibility of that bastard forcing himself on her had sent wave of anger down his spine and then her silence angered him more.

"Mein kuch puch raha hu uska jawab de Zara Arbaaz Rehman" His patience broke as he roared to get a reaction from her and it worked. She flinched back and her whole body trembled in fear. Her eyes momentarily looked up at him and the fire in his eyes scared her even more.

[I'm asking you something answer me Zara Arbaaz Rehman]

He pressed his eyes shut, taking a deep breath to restrain himself. Scaring her away wasn't his intention.
