Chapter 8

Y/n Pov
"HEHEHE! SEETTT SAILLLL" Luffy shouted with a huge grin on his face while pointing in a direction. "You bonehead! You're pointing in the wrong direction!" Nami shouted while taking her fist to his head. A huge lump begins to form and Luffy starts to rub it. I start to laugh at our goofy captain while pointing my finger at him "HAHA LUFFY YOU IDIOT" I cackle. Luffy sticks his tongue out at Nami while she has her back to him.

   After we finish getting supplies for our leave from Skypiea, the White Berets come running to shore. "GET THEM!" The man with the light blue cape shouted. "Uh oh.. TIME TO GO!" I shouted. Luffy laughed and with that, we were getting away. "Uhhh... hey guys..? How exactly do we get off this island?" Ussop asked. Before anyone could say a thing we see Conis. "THIS WAY!!" She shouted with a grin on her face. She leads us to the way off the island and suddenly, we drop.

"AHHHHHH" the entire crew screams. "Hehe! I think you guys will need this!" Conis giggled, throwing something off the edge. Abruptly we stop falling, everyone slams into the floor. "Ughhhh... Y/n... Are you okay..?" Zoro groaned. "Yeah.. I'm.. fine" I groaned back. I stand up and dust myself off, I walk over to Zoro so I can help him up. I wobble my way to him,  after he had gotten up and dusted himself off, he pulled my by my arm and into a warm embrace. "E-eh?" I squeak out.

Suddenly we heard everyone begin to shout again. "HEY SHUT UP WILL YA?" Zoro shouted at them with a vein slightly popping out his forehead. Chopper begins to point up "O-O-OCTOPUS!" He stammers. "Hah?" I say confused. Me and Zoro, almost in sync, look up. "HOLY FUCK" I shout. "Haha! It's an Octopus Balloon! It will get you guys down safely!" Conis shouted. After that I kinda ignored everything. I was too busy trying to get out of Zoro's arms, which were wrapped around my waist.

His head rested on my shoulder. In the end, he just dragged me to the mast where he sat down and pulled me in his lap. He fell asleep and that man is like a boulder while he sleeps so I'd be trapped for a while. It had been a few hours so during that time, me and Chopper had a lovely chat. I see that little guy as my son and he will be protected by me no matter what. "Chopper your so adorable" I said a little over a whisper.

Chopper turned a shade of pink and was about to say something but he was cut off by Sanji. "It feels like we haven't moved at all and we've been up here for hours. This octopus thing also looks different" he said. Robin chimed in and started talking about it. "Hmm yes. You are correct. It seems that this octopus is slowly getting smaller." She said. She had such an elegant voice. It reminded me of how women used to speak back in the day. Not that I knew much about then but papa used to tell me a lot of stories.

I kinda of zoned out for a bit but Sanji's shouting snapped me out of it. "LUFFY YOU DUMBASS GET DOWN FROM THERE!" He sounded pissed. He was looking up so I can assume Luffy was on top of the octopus. I sigh and slowly bring my hand up,  playing with Zoro's hair and rubbing his head. I smile at myself. Then suddenly, "Pop!" A random noise? Where did that come from? I look around and then realization hits me.

   "THE OCTOPUS IS GONE" I gasp. Then we begin to drop. Again. " WHAT THE HELL" Zoro shouts. That's one way to wake up that's for sure. We finally hit water and boy was it a hard hit. "Ughhh.. I swear.. and more of this and I'm gonna get a concussion.." I say. Then an alarm blares. "Hey uhh.. guys? WE ARE IN A MARINE BASE!" Nami panicked. "Aw fuck.." Sanji muttered. "Hehe!" Luffy chuckled. Before I knew it Zoro was dragging me off the ship and into the water.

"Zoro! Can't swim!" I began to resist but he was too strong. He pulled me to his chest and lifted me up, wrapping my legs around his waist. He jumped in and he began to swim. My body had gone limp from the ocean water but he managed to keep me up. We got to shore and he put me down. We started to wander but carefully, I slipped my hand into his as we walked around. After a bit we wandered into the base and were just walking the halls. We were looking for familiar faces when and ended up running into Nami. She quickly pushed up out the base onto a balcony.
